Minecraft.
We can't say this this game isn't popular. This whole website is pretty much dedicated to it. This one game revolutionized our lives. We could be creative, build homes and fight mobs to our hearts desire.
There is one problem.
Even though this game has pretty basic specification requirements, we are all hunting for better parts to run this game. 4 Gigabytes of RAM, 2.6 Ghz on a Intel PENTIUM processor...
Wait... what?
That is the specs listed on the official Mojang page. So, why are we always having trouble running the freaking game?
~The Processor~
To start off, Minecraft requires a clock base of 2.6 Ghz. For One core. That means if you have a 4 core processor with a clock speed of 2.5 ghz or below, you aren't meeting what will give you acceptable frame rates. Unless you like playing on render distance tiny...

~Graphics Card~
So the graphics card isn't really needed for minecraft, right? Heh heh heh...
I was joking.
The graphics card can be the savior of frames. NVidia in my opinion works great. I have it so I am a little biased.

DON"T GO OUT AND BUY A $2000 LAPTOP TO RUN MINECRAFT. Heh heh...
Well said Mr. Meme. There have been a lot of posts asking whether a laptop will run minecraft. My answer to that is yeah. It will. Buts you're spending hundreds of dollars more than you should be paying. Get a Desktop. More power, less money, more FPS.
