IMPORTANT NOTE
This is not to say Minecraft is no good, it's just to how how it's changed.
What It Used To BeA while back, I took a long break from Minecraft. Before I left, the mini-game and faction servers were basiclly abandoned wastelands and the vanilla survival and creative servers had a waiting line to get into them. It was great! People were friendly, trustworthy, and they helped new people.
What It Is Now
When I came back, I went to go and see my friends on what was my favorite survival server. Then, I saw everyone was gone. The houses were destroyed and the only few people that were there were just running from griefers who were burning down all the major cities and stealing everything from them. When I ran to my city, there were just a few cobblestone and wood blocks, lots of fire and netherrack and a few un-looted chests. And the largest city in the whole world that was right across the CrazyHecticMines (Which were right in front of my house.) was gone. The mayors house was burning down and the griefers were still there. So I left the server since there was nothing left but wastelands. Then, I saw how many people the faction servers had. I went in one and no one said "Hi" or "Welcome!" Not even "Get over here, noob, so I can kill you." 5 guys just jumped out and ambushed me! Obviously I died but this just kept happening! And then I looked at the chat. It made it seem like there was a terrorist attack going on. People were cursing, caps-locking, and saying stuff like "NOOOOOOO! DON'T KILL MY CHILDREN!" Also, some people were talking to their online boyfriends and girlfriends. Then, I complained to the only online admin that some people were spawn camping and not even letting me get out of the spawn. Then the admin told me that the people killing me were also admins and moderators in creative mode so I couldn't kill them. Then he asked me how old I was and I said 11. He then said "OOOOOOHH WHATS THE LITLE BBY GON DO BOUT US TELL HIS MOMEY? WAH WAH WAH YOU LITTLE TATLETELE BBY" so I said "I'm not a baby. At least I can spell unlike you." And then he challenged me to a fight and said if he wins he will ban me for life. And he put on a full set of diamond armor and a diamond sword with every possible enchantment. And he stayed in creative. He banned me for life and called me a "looser bby" That was the last time I ever went on a faction server.
The Main Point Of This
Minecraft has changed a lot! It used to be about building and having fun with your friends! Now, its all about killing people and ruining all their hard work. It isn't even very fun to play multiplayer anymore! I'm the only person in my whole class that doesn't like what Minecraft has become, and I think I'm the only one in the whole world, that doesn't like how Minecraft is now!
