One of the biggest minecraft challenges is mining. That is one of the hardest things to do in minecraft. So I'm here to show you all a more efficient way to mine: first off, you may decide in while mining if you want to make stairs underground leading to your mine, of a lond hole with a ladder. either way, you must first get to bedrock. whenmining always carry a sword, (for monsters) a stone and iron pickaxe, and a shovel. Easy enough so far? next: when your at bedrock, you must go to the lowest point of it. that is layer one. go one block higher, that is layer two. keep going up utill your at layer 10. when there, turn to the side, and mine a long, 50 block shaft, one block wide, two blocks high. go to the beginning of the shaft, and pick one side, and build the same type of shaft, but only 20 blocks far. your bound to find something good by now. no go back to the orignal 50 block shaft. an dig on the same side you did, the previous shaft but three blocks farther down than before. again, only 20 blocks far. kep doing the 20-block far shafts till you get to the end of the 50 block one. do the same thing on the other side of the 50 block shaft. once you've done that, go to the beginning of the 50 block shaft, and think to your self about just how much you've accomplished. You will have accomplished alot. now since your still on layer 10, go up six more layers and do the same thing you've done on layer 10 on layer 16. by the time your finished with that, (which will take about a month) there's a 99.99% chance you've found diamonds.
