Ok this would be amazing if the vanilla game actually had this in the next update... A mob spawn command. The first thing you would type is of course mobspawn... The second thing would be the type of mob (zombie, pig, chicken... etc). Then if the mob had subtypes such as the super-charged creeper or zombie/skeleton with armor then you could use an id in this optional variable of the command. Then the next optional variable would be the amount you want to spawn. (default would be 1). The last 3 are co-ordinates and will default to where the player (or closest player for the command block) is looking. This command could be combined with the command block to spawn mobs for a variety of different purposes.
It would have sooo many uses such as in arenas, adventures, and survival maps.. It could probably be used for many more things then that.. just try to think of the possibilities! :D
