I was exploring in the nether and I had noticed how cool all of the terrain was. Then I had an idea. What if someone made a mod where the overworld generated the same as the nether? The lava could be replaced with water and all the netherack and soul sand could be replaced with all the regular blocks. So if there are any good modders who would like to do this for me I would be really happy.

Sounds like a great idea, like certain biomes are nether-ified. (i do believe there is a bug that creates actual nether biomes although whether it still exists...)

I was watching a yogscast video and something like that happened. I just really like the way the nether terrain is formed

That would be kinda cool... But it would defeat the purpose of the nether.
