Todays video review is on a forge mod called Minecoins by: SpringGadget. This mod adds four types of coins to the game and they are non craftable. This mod is intended mainly for multiplayer servers where the server wishes to have a physical currency system rather than one relying on the chat system.

In my mind a physical currency makes more sense if you are trying to get your community to interact with each other more. PvP becomes something useful when there is a chance players may actually be holding money.

In future updates I would like to see a way for ores in the world to be turned into coins via a press, it could require an item only spawn-able by mods to work in order to keep counterfeiting to a minimum :D
