I've never been one for extreme Dungeoneering but I found that until I can get mods, I need to craft things the old hard way. I need TNT to hallow out a mountain and for that I need sulfur. Also, I need string for fishing rods and bows. I'm starting to go out at night, let the monsters spawn, go to sleep, and in the day hunt. But now I have hit a dead end. The last monster I killed was a spider and I haven't seen anything in a long time. I have the difficulty on Hard because I'm reassured now.
It may have been from my own doing, before I wasn't into Hunting, I had an X-ray Texture Pack to see minerals and dungeons. And before that I Dungeoneered old school. There weren't that much dungeons to begin with though. This was starting to be a little annoying, I regret all those times while spider-jockeys and creepers waltzed around my cobble-stone wall.

If you have any tips or advice, I would much appreciate it.

Also I would be happy if you did anything in ways of rating on my post(s) (except for flag please!)

Try not to light up too many areas! Mobs will only spawn in dark areas and mobs can't spawn really close to u as well.
