jack wiped sweat from his brows as he worked in the mines. swinging his pickaxe from here to there, he found use-full rocks and gems of sorts.
after a days work, he began to walk away from the cave. suddenly he stopped; as a tremor shook the ground. he looked back, pushing his long silky black hair back towards his hair crown. one part of the mountain was shaking, vibrating, and the rocks were braking. he walked back slowly, confused with this shake.
when suddenly, the part of the mountain shattered into thousands of rock shards. a beast the size of a Passenger airliner burst into the sky, with a sound as loud as a sonic-boom. it flew in circles above the mountain's peek.
jack looked up in shock and horror as the beast turned, and fixed his eyes on him.
