please make a sugar cane and pumpkin/melon farm using observers, I tried but every time the piston breaks the crops, it gets detected by the observer and powered again, it doesn't stop pushing

Its very simple, just place the observer on the top of the piston... and connect it from the back...

no that only work with 3 blocks tall sugar cane, what about pumpkin, melon or 2 block tall sugar cane

yeah I really do need it for a technical survival server, I made many designs but I don't feel that they're efficient and compact enough
