This is the very first devblog explaining what we have been up to with the server and systems we have been seeking to prioritise for the mvndicraft medieval experience, Recently we have been working on the combat overhaul which will completely change the skill requirement for PVP towards a real attack commitment based combat system where not respecting an attack cooldown is very punishing.
But moving away from that we have now implemented a weapon class system with Blunt weapons, swords , pole arms, axes, and firearms (for which we will dedicate part of our next dev blog.
Each weapon category has it's own advantages over armoured players and their ability to kill enemies with various status effects.
This overhaul has taken the bulk of development as soon as it will be finished we'll likely release soon after and see you on the map.
There will be more weapons added with every update we plan to cover most medieval european and middle eastern cultures.
Until then you take care.
