My computer crashed. The hard drive failed to exact. Now you probably don't know me, not many do, but if you did, then you would know to what extent my relationship with it goes. If I go somewhere, it does too. I'm not exactly easy on it, I drop it, overuse it, open way to many windows at the same time, don't save stuff, draw on it, the list goes on. All in all, it's been pleasantly forgiving. I love my computer. I even gave it a name, but due to my incompetent memory I can't remember it at the moment (it's written on the top of the screen). Imagine someone's life's work, their stories and their art, all of their creations and everything they're proud of inside a burning house, and everything reduced to rubble. It's my life, reduced to the only thing left, a year old backup drive that I used once. It's not the first time that this happened though, it was stolen the first. That's why I got the backup drive in the first place. I had a novel on that computer, two or three actually, never shared, never shown and never published anywhere. I may not be in such a bad state if I was more extroverted. Then again, I may not ever have met such a wonderful and supportive community and discovered such a wonderful world in the realm if computing. It's my introverted qualities that drew me to the friend that I couldn't see, or hear, but gave me so much to discover, and so much to learn. The outsiders don't understand I think. People think I'll win the computer whiz prize or something, and frankly I'm sad that even exists. Like I said, the outsiders don't understand. The computer is my canvas, not my art. It's my equivalent of paper, I guess. You cannot award someone a 'paper whizz' award. You award them a drawing award or a writing award because that's their art, and thats what they do on the paper. The paper is not the art, what's created on the paper is. In my view, the same goes for computers. It's what I create on it that matters, who cares about about a blank canvas. I really congratulate you if you managed to get through this, plus one for you! I realize int may have sounded like I was rambling on about nothing, but I'm really sad right now, and I love to think that someone out there is reading this. So for now, build on, create, and never, ever give up.

Diamond for the sappy ending? ;)

PS, I'm writing this on a wii and a phone, so I apologize for typos and grammar.

Also, I made the art above, so thanks if you like it!
