She realized some of these focus on her father. She looked up, and murmured “I miss you, dad..” her voice cracked from not speaking for months. “Akira, you bastard, I miss you..” She stood up, and being confused about who the second person in the passage was, she grabbed the cooler, stuffing the bedsheets into it as well. She opened the fridge again, which was a portal. She walked in, not knowing what would happen. When she came in, she fell into another empty room, instead of it being dark and drippy, it was bright, light up with the fluorescent lights that buzzed. She, grabbing the cooler, walked farther down the endless maze.
She found the bodies of others along the way, one wearing a nice business suit. She then heard the footsteps again, then the whoosh of wings. Turning around, she saw the fleeting sight of a tail. She ran after it, even though the cooler weighed her down, she kept running with it. She finally caught up. A stranger, with wings, was looking at the body she saw earlier. He sat down, looking around. He spotted her, and panicked, she said, “I'm not going to hurt you..” He sat down once again. So she crawled over to him, setting the bedding again, she got him to sit down with her, she opened the file again and looked at the very next page.
