The Guardian in a last ditch effort of protection, transferred its form into a smaller ( more naturally sized), vessel for better and less destructive combat. Though, this form is much more unstable and much more violent compared to the typically passive nature of The Guardian. The previous wielder of the mech was unable to properly harness this special form, never accessing the advantages the form has over its main counterpart.
