Raining Cakes

Hello there, SargeantJared here!
Today I have for you raining cakes in
Minecraft with no mods required.
Good for pranking friends or if you just
want cakes to rain in your world. :P

What is it?
This is a command to make cakes rain in your world
with no mods required. The cakes fall in a 256x256
area and spawn from 128 blocks high.

Simply type this in a command block:

/summon MinecartSpawner ~ 128 ~ {EntityId:FallingSand,MaxSpawnDelay:2,RequiredPlayerRange:512,MinSpawnDelay:1,SpawnCount:16,MaxNearbyEntities:4096,SpawnRange:256,SpawnData:{Block:minecraft:cake,Time:1},Riding:{id:EnderCrystal}}
Then power the command block using a redstone signal.

How does it work?
It spawns a mob spawner at y: 128. It spawns 16 falling sand entities, that
look like cakes, every tick randomly spread out. It spawns them in a
256x256 area when a player is within 512 blocks from the spawner.

Thanks for Watching... i mean reading.

idea:make a flying pig that you can fly upslide down on (super secret settings) and is 100X the normal spped that is found on a magic beanstalk that grows occasonaly on wheat seeds
Aw, this doesn't work with the new snapshot.
It does work, but they changed an nbt tag, here is the fixed version. I will update the post as soon as 1.8 comes out.

/summon MinecartSpawner ~ 128 ~ {EntityId:FallingSand,MaxSpawnDelay:2,RequiredPlayerRange:512,MinSpawnDelay:1,SpawnCount:16,MaxNearbyEntities:4096,SpawnRange:256,SpawnData:{Block:minecraft:cake,Time:1},Riding:{id:EnderCrystal}}
Why does it only work for normal worlds and not flat ones?
On flat worlds there are more blocks to fall, on regular it falls sooner because the ground higher up.
Wait a little bit, they should fall. :)
Alrighty, thank you for your response!
RRREEEEEEEAAAA- I think you get the point, :P
love your blogs! It's SO fun to mess around in minecraft and stuff! How did you learn to do all of this??
I started working on survival games stuff, which turned into the living blocks, then I did more of this type of stuff.
When I saw this picture for some reason I thought of fireballs instead of cake... I made it happen and now my world is a fiery disaster... >_>

Haha, amazing. I'm using this with bookshelves as some sort of graduating-parkour. It's pretty fun.
I think I'll try that, but you are probably better at parkour since you're expert toast and all. :P
