(Uh....cringe? Maybe? Idk I'm writing this as I go along)
"EMMA!" Mom screamed up the stairs " YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE!" my first day of high school and I'm already late. Great.
We finally got out the door by 7:30. "Did you get your lunch?" Mom asked giving me a look. "Yes-and my books and pencils and water. I'm fine." God mom is such a pain..... I thought to myself, buckling the seat belt.
The halls were filled with chit chat and gossip "did you hear about sam?" "Where's she from?" "Oh my god! So cute!" Ugh I'm already tired of this he'll hole. Just then, the bell rang and I walked into class B12
"Good morning class!" The teacher who I would later find out was Mr.John, said in a booming voice "moring ....." We all grumbled.
A few hours later and it was finally time for lunch. I had made a few friends. Eve Knew everything about everything. Anthony, who we called Andy, was.....doing his best in class. And Denise, the popular jock.
"Emma! Don't talk to her" Eve warned me as a skinny rich looking girl in a skin tight pink dress walked over. "So....you're Emma?" She asked, tilting her head a bit. "Uh...yeah?" Why was this girl talking to me? was all I could think before she pulled me away. "Listen, dont try anything funny with Denise. He's mine." She growled/ "Good! You can have him!" I hissed the last part while walking back to our table.
Shit......I forgot my lunch. I thought as I face palmed. "Emma are you alright?" Andy asked concerned. God he was cute....."Emma? Hello?" Eve asked. "Oh! Yeah I'm fine....just forgot my lunch" I said sinking into my seat.
Walking to my next class, the rich girl from earlier walked up behind me. "Emma!" She said jogging slowly in her neon pink high heels. "yes?" "I think we got off on the wrong foot" she said with a fake laugh. This girl is weird.... "Wanna be friends?" She asked taking my bag and carrying it. " I guess..." I mumbled. "YAY!" She squealed. "My names Alice by the way" she said with a odd twist at the end.
