First of all, I am sick of seeing these "texture packs" around. I am going to state this once and only once:
1: STOLEN CONTENT
Any stolen content posted on this site (skins, mods, texturepacks ect.) will be deleted and the user will be issued with a warning. Quality work and proper credit is important to our community. Only upload original content that you created
Now that you read that. I hope you understand why "Templates of the original textures are not allowed as you did not create them. Mojang didn't create them so you can upload them to sites like PMC. If people want to learn how to make a texture pack, I'm pretty sure they can get to their minecraft.jar with someone having to upload something totally un-original.
I have flagged at least 20 of these texture packs. And i probably haven't seen 1% of all of them on PMC. Moderators will delete them so don't even try to post them. I have some Q & A for you guys i commonly get from these people
Q- I uploaded it so I can help out other people, isn't that allowed?
A- As much as it may seem your helping someone, at the same time your uploading something belong to Mojang. This violates copyright laws.
Q- But i gave credit to Mojang?
A- Giving credit to Mojang doesn't change the fact your uploading something that isn't yours. If you could upload someone elses project if you gave credit to them, I'm pretty sure there would be 100,000 LB Photo Realism texture packs on the site. I'm not exaggerating.
As much as you think your helping people out, your violating Copyright laws.
So just don't do it.
Peace out,

Heres a pack from 4 months ago which still hasn't been deleted for some reason?
