Let me start this off by saying this has nothing to do with Minecraft, but it's a great, funny game that I think deserves to be shared. (Plus, it's free!)

Save the Date is a point-n'-click adventure made by PaperDino, a developer with a tendency to make his games slightly based off of other previously existing game concepts – but he always adds a twist to the gameplay that truly makes the experience of playing them different.

In the game, you take the role of a man whose date Felicia simply won't stop getting killed. It sounds a bit morbid at first but after a few playthroughs it's almost funny how Felicia just seems to die no matter what you do. In fact, if you want to get anywhere at all in this game, you'll have to go through a few playthroughs (and Felicia's going to have to die a few times as well).

The game dialogue is very well written, and the art is pleasing to the eye as well. The soundtrack really takes you into the mood, and if you really like it, you can pay whatever price you want for the soundtrack here.

If you wanna play Save the Date, prepare to be frustrated. Also be prepared for a bit of humor here and there (in one of the game endings, Felicia gets killed by a team of ninjas). But also be prepared to have a stinkin' good time.

You can get Save the Date on PaperDino's website.

(Save the Date was a finalist during indie game contest IndieCade 2013).
