Okay, just compare this with one of my older drawings....
Improvement.
So, er, self improvement!
It's important that you don't give up until you've reached the goal you're aiming for.
It's 100% difficult, and 0% easy, but, if you're serious about
the improvement you want to make,
you'll need to keep trudging through.
It's also important to stay humble in this, but also don't bash your work too much or
your standards of perfection will just keep getting higher and higher
to the point where it's impossible to reach.
No matter what, be proud in the position you're at currently,
don't look at the others next to you and compare,
there's always going to be someone better than you.
That definitely came out a little worse than I thought. What I just want to get across,
is that no matter what, there is no such thing as perfection.
The nose is too crooked, the egg was too soft, the dress was too sewn,
the art was too sketchy, the essay was too wordy.
Just, stop. For a moment, look at your progress. Pause time for a bit, look behind yourself and see all the
progress you've made. Refresh your mind, and trudge through until you reach your standard.
Make new goals, reach them, and cycle the process.
And, if anyone comes to you and says they're better, or smarter, or cooler, just remember that they
could've started sooner, or they put more hours into it.
Some people have skills that others don't and that's completely okay,
Don't compare.
That's the one of the biggest things I want to get across.
DO NOT COMPARE!
If it means going to extreme lengths to not see, or smell or whatever you are comparing to,
then do it. (This only accounts for things that are not essential to living btw)
