First off: yes, I've been away.
yes, no one reads these.
but let's get something straight, I don't make these solely for you. I make them for myself too, reminders on which servers I liked and which I didn't, none of my servers have had influence from any people on them, so I haven't been bribed with diamonds to make it a good server.

The bad stuff
Now: This server was quite good.
I think an all of about 3 people spoke to me.
so not exactly busy.
If you're fussy over screen spam, don't even bother. The "tutorial" as the admin called it, involves walking over pressure pads in order to receive information, which you then input into directions.
not sure what's wrong with writing it on a few signs personally, call me old fashioned.
Wasn't much outside once you escape, except that really big castle above. I was kind of lost, where do I build? I asked myself.
Not exactly sure on what sort of server it is, "server of the forgotten" doesn't give much away.
Anyway, if you struggle to read, avoid.
The tutorial layout is damn right confusing and stupid.
Ispent 5 minutes trying to jump through a window until I accidentally walked down a set of stairs.
The good stuff
I hate saying this, I really do, but there isn't much "good" stuff.
The server was quiet, no trolls, no spam.
To say I only spoke to the owner and an admin, there was a LOT of "citizens" statues. (The ol' citizens plug in eh?) Statues which I can only assume were admins.
The servers tutorial system does offer one good thing: It's griefer/trollresistant.
That's really all I have to say, I would love to give you a link to their PMC page, however, I don't have one. I was invited by a friend.

Tutorial is to filter out the trolls and shiz but you can take it slow and read through as slow as you like, there's no rush at all. If you need help, ask a staff member and they'll tp and just ask what you need in local or PM (since local isn't up right now. We just opened up give us time xD) e.g. you're having difficulty reading it they'll sum up the stuff it's asking. Command blocks are just an easier way of putting information on screen ^.^
It basically gives you info on a few plugins, the staff and rules.
Tutorial isn't meant to be confusing, it's just one direction until you get to a question then choose your answer to another direction. If you got it wrong, you were lead back. I believe it isn't fully finished yet (which is why part of it was just damn grass) but all the perms were written and stuff so it was a good time to open. We're concentrating more on stuff for money and chats.
"Server of the Forgotten"? No, the name (Land of the Forgotten) just means it's a themed server. After the tutorial you saw a castle with a falling down roof and cracks in the walls with lots of vines. Just abandoned, basically. "Ruins" theme.
Spawn: The point was just really to follow the path down, look at the NPCs to.. uhh.. tbh idk why they're there that's where Mirry put them. Then there's some signs outside on a post to your right. They showed you to the Rules & Exit, portals and an insta-warp to wilderness. Insta-warp was to your left and the rules/exit was onwards. Rules gave you, well, rules, where to exit and some handy commands. There's also a Potion Merchant on that path (Coming Soon), a Blacksmith to fix breaking items, enchantment table, etc etc. ^.^
We don't have a PMC since it got reported by some troll and removed but we're advertised on a few sites and we mainly use:
