Server reviews- SageCraft



Sega Craft is a hardcore PVP server, where you can build and survive but also you can raid and grief. In fact the only rule in the PVP world is No Hacks, everything else goes. The spawn is an empty tall building that could easily be made with MCEdit. The server owner is not on in person most of the time but talks and interacts with other people through the server its self. But if you need help or assistance there are other admins, mods, or helpers on most of the time. If you are not a fan of having you house greifed on the first day on the server (which happened to me) then they have a survival area where all the common rules apply (no greifing, be respectful, etc.). So at spawn you can go one way walk through a portal and end up in the PVP section which is extremely dangerous, or you can go the other way and walk into a survival world . If you where to go to the servers PlanetMinecraft page it reads.o HARDCORE PVP raiding server with tons of shops! o To clarify it, this server has a very small shop above the spawn, where you can buy and sell Tools, Weapons, and armor. You dono t start off with money, but you can get money by doing /vote where a link will come up of where you can go to vote. I personally do not like it when servers urge their players to vote in exchange for in game items. This server has a notification pop up in the chat bar reminding you to vote for them to get 200 sagecraft dollars. I like to play on the server a little bit to get a feel for the server, people and terrain, so I spent a week playing both the survival and PVP worlds. The first day in PVP I built a small underground house and started mining. The second day a player and a helper (Basically get any item they want) tore apart my house and flooded ito ¦ with lava. So I went to the survival world, where I was able to build a small house without getting killed by players. Several players where annoying though, constantly asking for items from me or wanting to live with me. They seemed to not take no for an answer.



Things to know



1. 1. Mob Greifing is on so beware of creepers, and enderman



2. 2. The computer is not very good even the admin admitting to lagging sometimes



3. 3. Optifine is ok to have



4. 4. Lockette is the plugin used to lock chests



5. 5. Factions are on the server, I personally dono t like factions but most people do so I dono t care.



6. 6. If you yourself dono t have a very powerful computer lag might be an issue because they have rain/snow on



7. 7. Minor lighting errors



8. 8. Admin is a good guy with a small sense of humor, other staff is nice too. (except for helpers that can do anything they want)



9. 9. PVP biomes close to spawn are manly snow, jungle, and swamp



10. 10. Survival biomes close to spawn are manly mountain and forest





Overall the server is not very impressive, it lags people are rarely on, it gets boring. I might as well play single player.
