Hey everyone,
-I figure this would be an review only because I want to give my personal opinions about servers in general. And before anyone accuses me of generalizing, this doesn't apply to all servers, but rather a majority of them.
-The concept in quesiton is how servers reward players for voting for their server. I won't be pointing fingers at anyone but the recent servers I played provided TNT, diamonds, and experience potions, and a significant amount depending on how many server lists (e.g PMC, Minestatus, Minecraftservers, MC Index) the server was on and could vote for. Now, this is understandable (for getting new players, etc) , but it's gotten to the extent where it ruins a balance in the server, and balance is what PVP/ Faction servers need. I wanted the communities feedback on this, and if it is really even an issue you notice. But with servers that employ these types of voting methods should be altered somehow because it requires you to vote to get all the perks the voters get (which also promotes servers that get votes by gifting the player stuff, rather than the actual quality and the commidation the vote should represent) and just the fact that newcomers are already armed with diamond and whatnot depending on what the server provides. There, got it out.
