Shipwreck: Part 1
A Minecraft Story
The waves were licking my feet, the sand tickling my nose. I woke up on a beach, a flat one. In the far distance I could see a jungle, a lush green jungle. I flipped onto my back to stare at the sky, the blue and white painted sky. I gripped the sand with my fingers, it was soft and small. I leaned up to a sitting position and the vast and beautiful ocean filled my sight. I slowly got to my knees and then fully standing. My vision blurred and I had to sit back down onto the sand. I waited until my vision cleared and tried again. This time I stayed standing.
I turned around to find a brown colored object a few yards away. I stumbled over to it to realize it was a chest. There were small holes ranging from the size of a piece of rice to the size of a nickel on the surface of the chest. It had one big gash in the top and was surrounded by what looked like torches. They were smoldering and barely glowing. The chest had a rusty broken lock attached to the front of it. I fumbled with it and eventually got it off.
The contents of the chest were not much; a few pieces of wooden planks, two small logs and a wooden axe. I left the small amount of supplies and closed the lid. I looked around the beach to find that it was filled with debris. Varying sizes of wood to varying sizes of metal sheets. For the first time I realized I didn't have my memory. It all made sense, Waking up on a beach, debris all around. It was a classic case of amnesia, although I didn't lose my common sense.
I stood and looked at the debris for a while, wondering why I hadn't noticed when I was walking over to the chest. Out of the corner of my eye I could see a fairly intact wooden structure. I walked past the small pieces of wooden planks to what looked like a house. It had a door off to the left and a small smashed window on the right. It was tilted slightly to the left and stuck into the sand.
I walked into the doorway and smelled wet old musky wood. "How long had I been on that beach?" I wondered. The floor was cluttered with the smashed and rotted roof that had given way previously. In front of the window was a wooden post where the top had been ripped off. I turned towards the back of the small cabin like building and found a large wooden wheel smashed in unequal half.
Next to it was another chest and a bed was in the corner. I looked in the chest and found some spoiled food; a rotten potato and some rotten meat. The potato looked less rotten and I was starving so I grabbed the potato and took a bite. It was soft and warm but it was food. I sat down on the bed while I ate the rotten food. After I was done I looked around for some sort of cup or bottle. In the far corner were some smashed bottles and a strange platform with faucets coming off of it. I rushed over to it and desperately tried the faucets. Nothing... I grabbed the bottom of a smashed glass bottle and rushed outside. I stumbled to the water’s edge and plunged the bottom of the bottle into the water. Once it was full I gulped it in, I repeated this step for a few minutes until I had my fill.
I stumbled back into the cabin, tripped over some debris fell onto the bed and dozed off.

The word "Amazing" is overused, so it has lost its meaning. But this truly is amazing!
things you might want to change:

1. Paragraph 4, the 2nd last sentence; "I had a door off the the left and a small smashed window on the right." seems like it should be "It had a door to the left, and a small smashed window on the right."
