A yowl came out of nowhere. "The river is flooding!" The Riverclan cats heard Reedpelt's warning. As Featherstar was climbing up to the center of the island, a ripple of pain passed through her and she stopped, a look of fear on her face. "The kits are coming!" she yowled to Lilypool, the medicine cat. Lilypool turned her head to Feathertail, obviously worried. "Up here!" she beckoned to Featherstar. She jumped on top of a large boulder, and laid down. "Featherstar!!" A voice called from below. "Stormpelt, run!" Featherstar called to her mate. He dipped his head and ran even farther into the canter of the island.

Suddenly, another ripple of pain, even worse this time, passed through Featherstar. "The first kit!" Lilypool said, and gave Featherstar a stick. "Bite on this when the pain comes," She instructed Featherstar. After a few moments, a small. grey tom was on the rock. "This is Stonekit," Featherstar sighed with relief when another ripple of pain came. She bit down on the stick, and it splintered. As the other kit began to come, Featherstar's eyes grew big and saw something. There was a beautiful silver cat with Riverclan. Guiding them, saving them time and time over again.

Suddenly, a voice awoke Featherstar from her vision. "You're all done!" Lilypool said and pushed a silver kit to Featherstar. She thought of the silver cat when she saw the small kit at her paws. "And your name is Silverkit." As Featherstar said her kit's name, the river clamed and slowly started to circulate around the island again. The winds seemed to whisper the kit's name. 'Silverkit.' Featherstar licked the kits and fed them as she sighed and smiled.

I wrote this for Deltoraquestgirl because (I think) we were asked to (The leaders of her Fanclan) write a little thing about our cats as kits or something. x3 So, I hope you like! (And who knows, maybe I will write this as a book :3)
By the way, the pic doesn't look like Silverkit for me... o3o (Sorry I can't change it for some reason -.-)
