Well, here I am, making my first blog. Everything is kinda new to me, even if my account has been here for a few months. I'm here, telling a story, about my single player experiences. I promise you it's not one of those with bad spelling and grammar, or one about stacking TNT to...whatever. Hopefully, you'll like it.
Anyways, on with the story. I'll tell you a bit about myself. I'm a pretty noob-ish noob. Minecraft? COD? Skyrim? Pfffttt....I pretty much suck at all of them. PvP, spleefing, (I'm okay-ish with building. You know...dirt houses and all), knowing what recipes to use in different mods, a lot of stuff. Getting sidetracked again! Back to the story!
I'm here to tell a story about me, and my single player jitters. I remember back in the day, when I wanted to get Minecraft. I had searched up all about it, played Classic for a few days, before deciding that I would get it. First thing that happened, was, I tried out sp. (If you don't know what that means...well...sucks for you.) I started punching down trees, and started exploring. Pretty soon, the sun was going down, and I just holed up in a tiny little dirt house with nothing but a crafting table, and some sticks. When dawn came back up, I ran around trying to find things, and got blown up by a sneaky creeper. I've never played on plain single player survival ever again.
It's like that feeling of goosebumps. Whenever I'm very alone, I always can't imagine the horrors that could be happening behind my back. That's why I tend to always play on massive multi-player servers, or single player creative. I always bring a friend. Things tend to get better. Somehow, Minecraft just ruins my "afraid-of-nothing-man-ly-ness". I can watch scary movies, get scared by, but nothing makes me cower more that a creeper suddenly exploding in your face. That memory has scarred me forever.
On multi-player servers, it somehow comforts me, in a weird way. As long as there is a person I'm talking to on skype, or teamspeak, or just a random person chatting, I feel a bit more safe, and less creeper-exploded. And don't worry, it's not just the creepers. Skeletons, spiders, zombies, anything that pops up when I'm in an abandoned mineshaft, or anywhere. Scary jitters.
From now on, I've never even had to guts to open a single player world by myself, nevertheless playing on it. I've braved millions of waves of mobs, respawned a couple of thousand times, killed a few creepers with my bare hands, but still, that single player survival still gives me the jitters. It may just rot there, alone, never to be opened by me. Or, one day, I might finally do it...
Well, there's my wonderful story! If you liked it, feel free to favorite or diamond it! If you want more, PM me, or comment! Thanks!
