-Hello, fellow Walls survivalists!
Neon Frost here, with my new blog, on how to build the perfect Walls base! Perhaps you are familiar with basing tactics. If you are then what are you doing here? Go play some Walls! Now, however, chances are, if you clicked this blog, you are looking for some info on how to build the perfect Walls base. Let's get started, shall we?

THE SKYBASE:
Skybasing is one of the most original basing ideas in all of Minecraft minigames. Skybasing can be fun, and make you look so professional! Now I will give you some tips on making the perfect base:

-Team spirit: Don't be greedy on your skybase! When someone on your team wants to come up there and hide out for a while, let them! Skybases are for keeping a team safe. Inform all your team before the walls fall down, that they are welcome to come up on your skybase if they are low on health, food, or armor.

-Food: When you begin a game of Walls, go for the chests. Before you do anything else, find the map's farm. Get ALL the wheat and seeds. Bring dirt, too, so you can farm atop your skybase later on.

-Buckets: Water and lava buckets are VITAL tools for the Skybaser. Water for if you have to make an emergency jump-off, and lava if you see the enemy coming at you. You can kill people faster with lava than you can a sword.

-Planks or cobble: Of course, to make your skybase, you are going to need a large quantity of a certain block. If you are near a cave, and have proper mining tools, use cobble. Make sure you get about 1 or 2 stacks of it. When stone is low, or you don't have any tools handy yet, use wood. 16 wood blocks are equal to one stack of planks. Note that cobble does not spread fire like wood does.

-Arrow shelter: Gosh, this is a tactic I created myself that I have never seen anyone else do before. An arrow shelter is a very small room built atop a skybase. Make the small room, and put a door on it. It must have a roof too. When the enemies fire arrows at you, the arrows can hit you even if you are hiding behind a block. When large arrow fire is coming at you, retreat inside the arrow shelter so you won't get hit.

-The regularnecessities: Crafting table, 3-5 furnaces, a chest, and so on. These are the things that are really important to any game of survival. If you like, you can put them in the arrow shelter.

-Farming: Make a wooden hoe and place some dirt and water beside each other. Plant the seeds you got from earlier. Now you have an infinite food source, which can be shared with your teammates who likely didn't have time to make their own farm.

THE UNDERGROUND BASE:
Underground basing is the more hidden alternative to skybasing. There are two kinds of underground basing: 1.) Cave basing 2.) Mine basing. There are little differences, both are well hidden, both are easy to make. Cave basing is a base built inside a cave. Mine basing is a base completely dug out by the player. Here are the tips:

-Soul sand: If you are playing a map with soul sand, get a big heaping amount of it. you can keep people from coming in your base, or keep trapped bad guys from coming out.

-Food: Same as the skybasing, being stuck without food is extremely dangerous, especially if you are pacing around. You can die from hunger on most Walls servers.

-Iron: Getting iron armour and tools is an easier thing to do in underground basing than in skybasing. It is easy to tell why.

-lava bucket: If you made a soul sand trap so the bad guys can't get out, have a lava bucket. So as when you lava them down they can't escape.

-Lots of furnaces and coal: You are going to have iron ore, right? Well, you should be able to figure out why you'd need stocked furnaces when you have ore blocks. If you can't figure out why, Then I recommend you go to noob therapy.

DECORATIONS:
Decorating is a fun way to spend your time. Pumpkin heads and jack o lanters, mob skulls and heads, vines, redstone stuffs, glowstone, netherrack, torches, colorful wool and clay.

WALLS EDUCATE:
Stealing iron, blowing teammates up, and breaking crafting tables while in use are noobish frowned upon moves. When playing a Walls game, your teammates are there to help you! Don't cake them with troll moves! It's retarded and once the Walls fall, no one will want to fight with you. No one wants to be a loner in the battlefield.

Well, that's all for now, folks! I hope you enjoyed reading this all-new Walls blog!

A tip for anyone still viewing this guide: Do NOT use item frames or armour stands in a skybase. These are both entities and can be detected by players that know how to do so with a completely vanilla client. Using item frames and armour stands could cost you your base.

Like it :P I usually play with my friend. Our normal routine: Collect iron, smelt it, run to the wall, rush and kill. May the odds be in our favor :P
Btw the pitcures are from hypixel right?
