I would like to clear up that the Nether Update snapshots have now entered the bug-fixing stage, as there have been few more additions, and the Nether Update poll was closed. The new features will not be added, so there is no point in requesting new features, blocks, structures, and mobs you would like to see added in the next snapshot.
However, there is no need to fret!
The Nether Update is ever so close, and we will be receiving it soon.
