The Golden EnderianMy name’s Wyatt Cullen, as you guess from the past 2 adventures I’ve had. Me and LJ just got married, and we’re living the best life possible in Northunder Manor. Grayson’s making sure we’re okay, and living the good life. Me and LJ went into the woods, and onto a cliff. I made a platform for us made out of my webs. We went on the platform to sit down.
“LJ, what if we have kids? Would they have my powers?” I asked.
“Don’t worry about that, tiger” said LJ.
“It seems to be getting late, we should go back home” I said. So we went in my car and drove home.
“I’m gonna have a sleepover with friends, have a good night” said LJ. She kissed me and left. I went to bed, wondering if I would have any more adventures. I was wearing my suit in bed. Before I knew it, some black slime covered me, and turning the purple on my suit black, but also turning the bright purple on my suit gold. Next thing I knew after that, I was on a glass window on a building. I looked at my hand.
“This feels good...” I said. I swung to the top of a building, and took off my mask to look at it.
“This is something else” I said smiling. I went home, took a pinch out of the new suit, and put the piece into a jar. The suit reformed.
“Interesting...” I said. The next day, I went to Dr. Collins to see if he could examine this new black substance.
“This seems pretty interesting, Wyatt” said Dr. Collins. He had half of it with him, and half of it coming to me. I trapped it in the jar before it could touch me.
“It seems to like you. Even though any light reflecting on it shows gold instead of white, just don’t let any of it get on you” said Dr. Collins.
“I’ll be careful” I said.
“You gotta be more than careful. You gotta completely stay away from it. These things, when they bind with someone, it can be tricky to unbind” said Dr. Collins. After that, I went home. When I looked at myself in the mirror, my hair was a bit darker, and was starting to come down. So I put down the front of my hair, and put on my black suit instead of my normal one. I called the substance “GildFluid”. I secretly hid the black suit under my clothes, and Grayson didn’t know about the black suit. I went to work, and there was someone new.
“Hi there! I’m Jacob Waters. You must be Wyatt Cullen, right?” Said the new guy.
“Yes I am. I’m Spider-Goldie’s photographer” I told him. And I showed him my photos.
“How did you get all the way up there?” Asked Jacob.
“Well, I didn’t exactly, I somehow find Spider-Goldie at times, and I ask him if he could put my phone up high while I have it set to video, and he swings in front of my phone at a distance after he takes care of the criminals. After that, he gives me back my phone, and I stop the video so I can get the perfect screenshot of him. Of course, I make something small at the bottom crediting him” I said.
“Interesting” said Jacob.
“Cullen! Waters! I want you both to be on the hunt for Spider-Goldie! Whichever one of you proves how much of a menace he is will get a thousand dollars!” Said Judah. So we went out, and me and Grayson went to the police station because he promised me today he would take me there so we could find out who my dad’s killer was.
”Originally, we though this guy was your dad’s killer” said the chief, showing me a picture of someone, and that person’s name was Ned Baker.
“Now, we know who the killer is for sure” said the chief, showing me a picture of someone, and that person’s name was Ivan Smith.
“Please, be patient with us. We’re doing the best we can” said the chief.
“No you’re not. Dad told you how dangerously angry I can get. You’re not doing your job, that man killed my dad, and he’s still out there!” I yelled out of control.
“Wyatt, calm down” said Grayson.
“You’re right, I should. We should get out of here before I get angrier” I said. We went back to Northunder Manor. How did Grayson not notice my new hair? That night, I snuck out, wearing my black suit, and looking for Ivan. I found him, but he turned into sand and went down into a vent. I opened it, and heard someone take a picture of me. I turned around, and Jacob was there.
“Hey, man. I just wanted to say, I love the new look” said Jacob. I webbed the camera, and threw it at a wall.
“See ya, chump” I said. I went down to find Ivan. After a few minutes, I found him.
“Why did you kill my dad, Ivan?” I asked.
“What does it matter to you anyway?” Asked Ivan.
“EVERYTHING!!” I shouted. I webbed the train going past us, and let it take me to Ivan so I could kick him in the face. He hit a pipe, and when his hand got wet, it turned into mud. I broke the pipe, letting water come out and completely cover Ivan. He completely turned into mud. I went back home, and put on my normal clothes over my suit. The next day, I went online, and found that the picture Jacob took of me went to Facebook. I quickly edited it, and made it look like my normal suit helping a child from falling. I went to work, and found Jacob.
“I saw your picture of Spider-Goldie, and I looked through some old unused photos of mine, and I found yours was very familiar9 I said.
“What do you mean? That’s what I saw, so I took the picture” said Jacob.
“You’re trash, Waters. Your picture’s fake!” I said, showing him my edit.
“Please, Wyatt. If you do this, I’ll lose my thousand dollars I haven’t spent anything on, and I’ll be fired” said Jacob.
“You should’ve thought about it earlier” I told him. Judah was behind me, looking at my version.
“Cullen, I heard yours is the real one. Waters!! You’re fired!” Said Judah. And he dragged Jacob outside. A few days later, a newspaper said “Jacob Waters stole Wyatt Cullen’s picture and edited it”. A few more days later, there was a restraunt party I went to.
“If it isn’t my rival, Wyatt Cullen” said Jacob. I grabbed him, and pushed him into a corner.
“You deserved to be fired, Waters. Maybe next time, you won’t steal a photo again” I said. After that, I let him go, and realized what the suit was doing to me. It was changing me, turning me into a meanie. I left, and went to a tower. I was wearing my full black suit. I pulled down my hood, and tried taking off my mask, but it was stuck to me. I bumped into a bell, making it ring. It was loud, but that helped me take off the suit. I tore it apart until it was completely off of me. I had no clothes on, but I saw a closet full of clothes. I had no choice but to take some out of it. I put on the clothes, and went back home. A few days later, there was an article. It said “Local news says the black suited Spider-Goldie turns out to be something different”. Then I realized what I did. The GildFluid found someone else to take over. I went to a building, wearing my normal suit, and it was covered in black and gold webs. I saw LJ trapped up there in a taxi. “Hang on, Leticia Joy!” I shouted. I went up there, and as soon as I got to her, something punched me hard. He revealed himself as Jacob Waters.
“Hello, Cullen” said Jacob.
“Jacob, we can find a way to settle this!” I said.
“You’re right. I’m thinking of humiliating you for payback. You don’t remember humiliating me, do you?” Said Jacob. I escaped in time to catch LJ.
“Hold onto me” I told her. I heard grappling. It sounded familiar. I looked at where it was coming from, and Grayson had made his own Flying Monkey suit, without a helmet.
“Wyatt, I’ll get LJ to safety. You should stop both of those from damaging the city, mainly the alien” said Grayson.
“Thanks, bro” I told him. LJ grabbed hold of him, and he grappled down. I went inside. I heard Jacob laughing, giggling, and cackling. He showed himself.
“Jacob! You gotta take off the suit! Listen, I know what it feels like. It feels good, the power, everything. But you’ll lose yourself” I told him.
“You can’t convince me, Cullen. I like being bad” said Jacob. He webbed my arms, and kept me where I was. Grayson came, but Jacob grabbed a metal bar, and smacked Grayson. That made me furious, but when the bar made sound, the GildFluid went crazy and screamed. That reminded me back when I was at the tower trying to take it off. Jacob got to the middle, and I grabbed the bars, and trapped him. I grabbed a spare bar, and made as much sound as possible, and he was free enough to where I could get him out. I webbed him avoiding the GildFluid, and pulled him. I found one of Grayson’s grappling hooks, and got a bomb out of it. I grabbed it, and threw it at the GildFluid monster. Jacob started running towards it, but I grabbed his arm. The bomb exploded, destroying the GildFluid. I put my mask back on, got him to safety, and his hair was back to normal. I swung away, and got Grayson and LJ back home. That night, we had a party to celebrate me and Grayson. And flying monkey was now a hero. At least it was the new one.
