Hiroshima

"Australia and New Zealand are now threatened by the might of the Imperial Japanese forces, and both of them should know that any resistance is futile." Hideki Tojo proudly declared through the crackling radio. Steve was walking upstairs, half drunk before the sun set. He opened the door slowly and peaked into the bedroom of which used to belong to his two sons. The older one, Aiko, was Steve's step-son, but they had lived under the same roof since Aiko was three. As steve peered into the room, the younger son, Yashi, was lying on the lower bunk reading Mein Kampf. Steve didn't approve of Yashi's reading choices, but allowed it never the less. Steve was always impressed that an 11 year-old boy could have such a big vocabulary. Steve knew that one day Yashi would do great things. Steve didn't feel the need to disturb the two, so he just decided to continue to stumble to bed.

The next morning, news errupted out about his home country, Japan, deciding to bomb an American army base in Australia. Steve, conventiantly being an ex-soldier, knew that this wasn't going to end well. Never the less, he decided to continue as usual, hoping not to cause a panic. Steve knew America would retaliate, and Steve knew that they were extremely powerful. At work in the bar in central Hiroshima known as Yoshino's.
