This is my first post after valentine's day! Whoop whoop!
Might we be able to start it off with a bang? Who knows!?
I made extra sure to come back to this specific art project, to keep my word and get it done! One more thing to cross off my list!
(Honestly, I can't tell if this is good, or completely baked, making all those sleepless hours of work worth nothing😕)
But I think this came out fantastically! Its my SPOOKY style of nightmare Fredbear! So let me break him down for you guys, design wise!
I want to tie things to the lore in my fanmade fnaf universe of stylish revamps, while still being able to take my own spin and approach to what I how I feel things would work for their fearsome appearances!
That being said, I wanted to bring forth the fears from the player's perspective, aka the crying child from Fnaf 4. I wanted to expand the fear and trauma of the bite. So to do that, I took this fear, and made it a key element of nightmare Fredbear's design. Placing teeth in quite a few places, making them crooked, lengthy, and unnerving. Adding gums to the teeth, I felt would add onto this aspect.
Onto the rest of the Body, I made some size choices throughout every part. The hands are heavy and massive, this affects his posture, to the point where he can't lift on hand without using his other to prop it up. The hands symbolize the fear of how trapped the kid was, being dragged to his doom, the hands that lift him to his inevitable incident of tragedy. The hands come in such size, being big enough to snatch a child away with just a one handed grab. Its also worth mentioning that due to the amount of weight they carry, he has been reduced to crawling on all fours to make his way around.
Creepy👀
His neck and torso consist of long, twisty, and metal parts. This allows him to move around in decrepit ways, allowing more movement between the upper and lower half. This way, he can travel much faster than any of the other nightmares.
But unlike the others, he and Nightmare don't actually share the same features. You may not understand what I mean by this. Because I haven't shown you all Nightmare's design, and how it differs from Nightmare Fredbear. I'll be making a separate post for that at a later time!
So as you're looking at it, no I did not straight up rip the background from fnaf 4, in fact I would be surprised if you got that impression at all! But yes, I made the background all by myself from scratch(as with everything else)! I tried to create one of those fnaf 4 hallway shots where the animatronics are in the halls right in front of you! I think I nailed it! But do let me know your thoughts if thats not the case! I'm gonna start finishing other projects I left in the outskirts and get them over with!
