MineTorials. Teaching Minecrafters How Its Done! 2: Crafting And Smelting.


So now you have survived your first night and you're ready for more! So here's what you are going to do next:


Crafting and Smelting.


1. Dig a mine and try to find coal. This will be for our smelting. You can also use wooden planks for smelting too.


2. You should already have a crafting table. This will be used for crafting. We are going to make a stone pickaxe, mine some iron, and make a iron sword and pick-axe.


3. Once you have found some coal, you should have some cobblestone. Now use your wooden planks to make 4 sticks. then craft a stone pick-axe. Howto craft it? ----> C C C. C is cooble and s is stick.

4.Go mining for some iron. If you find some, you need 5 for a pick-axe and a sword. So try and find that much.


5. Go home. And make a furnace by using cobble all around the crafting table except for the middle. And put coal in the bottom box of the furnace and your iron ingots. 1 piece of coal=8 items to be smelted. So you only need 1 piece of coal.


6. After you have smelted your stuff. Go to the crating table and make a pick-axe using the iron ingots and use the 2 other pieces of iron to make a sword.
