AY people its Firstrecon101 back from my 10 month department from planet Minecraft, and im going to review the great and all mighty TECHNIC PACK. The Technic pack is a modpack for anyone who wants to deviate from the normal, vanilla Minecraft. and when i say deviate i mean complete Minecraft overhaul. First of all, this modpack is very convenient because it is in a launcher, meaning you don't have to go through all of that mess of putting the files in the jar, or risk incompatibility. ok, ok ill stop with the technical stuff (see what i did there ;D) and get to what i assume every Minecrafter loves, THE FUN.

The Basics:
There are 5 different mod compilations in the technic pack, you heard me 5 different ways to game in ONE 50 SECOND DOWNLOAD, and those are:

-Technic

-Tekkit

-Yogbox (yes, THE YOGSCAST YOGBOX)

-Voxel Modpack

AND......

-Hack/Mine

Technic:
Have you ever felt that Minecraft is lacking that "industrial feel", well i know i have. Technic has both Buildcraft AND industrial craft together for your enjoyment. if you dont know what those 2 mods are, buildcraft is a mod that adds pipes to Minecraft, that is the basic foundation of the mod, i'm not going into much detail because there is a wiki page that describes the whole mod down to the 1's and 0's :). you can look at it here:

Industrial craft is like the brother of buildcraft... in a way.... sorta... NEVER MIND THAT STATEMENT WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY IS THAT IT IS EQUALLY AS AWESOME AND THEY GO TOGETHER. It includes things like nukes, to solar panels, to automatic crafting tables, you can look into it more here:

ok, ok im gonna give you a couple seconds to brace yourself for this epic compilation... Tekkit is basically Technic...... FOR MULTIPLAYER :3. if you want to play multiplayer tekkit, simply look up tekkit servers right here on planetminecraft.com :D. check out more on this awesomeness at:

Yogbox:
I felt like i should write this section in color cause i FREAKIN LOVE THE YOGBOX, this mod compilation is for anyone who loves to adventure, like me! it is filles with fun mods from the Mo' Creatures mod, to Thaumcraft, to thevery simplistic but fascinating shelves mod. i recommend this for anyone who is tried of the same old, same old it is very nicely put together. imagine walking through the jungle on vanilla Minecraft, nothing more that ocelots and vines...
now walk through a jungle on Yogbox, Run into a revamped Npc village, watch there civilization grow, trade with them, they even actually build and farm. become there ruler and RULE MINECRAFTIA :D. read more about this if your not into suprises (*cough* like getting brutally murdered by israphel *cough*)...:

Voxel Modpack:
ok, this was kinda hard to review cause i dont play on the voxel box server that much, but its still pretty cool. this modpack renames items to fit the retextured and repurposed items in the voxel box universe it also comes with the texture packs needed to use on the voxel box. i have to say this modpack gives a whole new feel to the GUI of Minecraft, a more futuristic feel. if you think your worthy of building on their pro level, check out the servers official wiki: www.voxelwiki.com/minecraft/The_Voxel_Box

Hack/Mine:
This is a complete RPG overhaul, it is great and i'm sure if you like any RPG you will lightly enjoy this, to tell you the truth i didn't play this for more than a weekend or two because it was too different for me :/ BUT IT IS STILL A GREAT MOD OVERALL. It is class based, you can be a Steve, a dwarf, and a HALFLING :D!!! Then you can choose to be a Ranger, a Warrior, or a Mage. it adds a bunch of new mobs, battletowers, dungeons, and a secret dimension.
oh and it also has multiplayer!!!!! :D
