Before we get started, the title was NOT sarcastic. Ok? Got it? Good.
What I do
I just want to say I <3 you all SO much! Not in the creepy way, but y'know what I mean. I've been blooming so much on this month or so in my PMC account, NewJerseyMinecrafter. I've got 22 subscribers, which is, like, *PHEW*. I mean, it's really awesome. I got one from iRedPoison, an amazing fantasy builder, and one from CNCMinecraft, which does amazing sci-fi builds, and many more subscribers with their own amazing talents. I do some Projects, and those get pretty popular (to me,) but I wanted to turn to the Skinning side of PMC for a while, and let me just say, it has been one of the best decisions of my life. One of them. Skinning is just so much fun, with all the shading and the imagination, it makes you feel like Notch a little bit, I guess :P But anyway like I said before, I love Skinning! If you, the reader, have not done a skin, you should at least try. No skin is a bad skin, even if people say so. Just let your creativity roam!
Types of Minecraft activities and what they represent
Skinning
Skinning is a way to express your artistic talents to everyone-to show who you are, almost. Here's what I think skin styles represent:
Ultra-detailed: Takes time in everything, everywhere.
Cartoony: Loves to have fun, and is very silly.
Blocky: Straight and to the point. Wants to get things done, but well.
Smooth (no shading): Is very quick at anything, but enjoys what they do.
There's more skin types, but I can't think of any now. Sorry. D:
Projects
Projects is a way to show how smart you are, I think. You can be very good with Redstone, or build incredible castles and fortresses, which both show your creativity and effort.
Mods
Mods show how bright you are with programming and technology. I'm probably not going to do Mods, sorry. But Mods show how you want to make things better.
Texture Packs
Texture Packs show how you don't like things plain. You wanna mix it up a little bit.
Servers
Servers show that you love interacting with other people-you love meeting people. You're friendly.
Blogs
Blogs show you love writing and take time in your actions.
I really hope you enjoyed this Blog!
