The only noise Steve could hear was the steady, loud noise of his own panting. He could also hear the constant "SSSSssss!" emanting from the monsters he called: Creepers. He gave a quick look behind him, and saw as he had feared. He saw two creepers chasing him through the night. He gripped the thick shaft of his pick axe, which he had handcrafted himself, harder then he ever had before. "MUST.......GET........TO VILLAGE!!" he murmoured to himself, as if encouraging himself to push forward. He heard another hissing noise from behind him, he knew what was about to happen. In unison to the end of the mysterious hissing noise, Steve gave a great leap into the ait. Just as a loud BOOM!!! took place, Steve landed on he ground. Steve looked at the hole that had devasted the land before him. Steve gave a big sigh and plopped down on the ground. He let hs pick axe roll on the floor as he stretched out his arms and legs....
