**Hello guys! I am finally back into writing the blog. I am very sorry and I cannot apologize enough for not writing in so long. I have had a very busy schedule but summer is here now so there will be time for writing. I will now be posting regularly so check out my blogs about once per week. Chapter 2:
    Steve awoke to a sudden jolt of noise running through his small shelter. He got up with a stir and went to check on the strange noise. He approached the door and noticed that it was beginning to break down. Frantically he ran to his crafting table to craft a sword out of stone. He swung the sword around a bit to get a feel for it, then raced back to the door to find a zombie entering. With a swift cut he lashed out at the zombie and struck it in the leg. The force of the blow sent the zombie crashing into the wall. The zombie got back up and began to limp towards Steve. This time Steve was ready for him and lunged into the zombie with his sword out. The sword went cleanly in and the zombie slid to the floor.

    Steve was exhausted . This had been his first encounter with something that had tried to kill him. He thought about his base and how he may not survive the next attack if there are more than one zombie charging. He told himself that he would work on his base later, but for now he was hungry. His stomach growled at the thought of a nice apple or a hot steak. He gathered his supplies and headed out to look for food.

    Steve ventured out a little ways from his house when he came across a cow. It was gnawing on some grass and wasn't paying attention to his surroundings. Steve saw this as a perfect opportunity to get himself something to eat. He got his sword ready and snuck up behind it. He was just a few feet away from it when he stepped on a twig that snapped. The cow mooed with fear and started to trot off into the forest. Steve was up[set with himself for being so careless. He wasted no time and started chasing the cow into the forest.

     The cow was going along at a good pace but Steve was faster. Within a few seconds Steve had caught up to it and began to hit it with his sword. He got the kill in just a couple swings. He thought grimly on the fact that he would have to haul it back to his house and cook it up. To his amazement the cow disappeared in a poof and was replaced by two pieces of raw beef. He picked them up and put them into his inventory. Now with a good amount of food he was ready to head home.

      Steve turns around to start the journey home when he is knocked off his feet with a punch and finds a sword shoved into his throat. He can barely breathe and can feel the blade digging into his skin.
