In the far reaches of a Minecraft world, lays a town simply named the Bergo . Built by NPCo s so advanced they can think and speak for themselves, it is connected to the outside world, and human players, by a single track known as the Line. The Line is the most important place in the Bergo . It provides communication and supplies to the tiny town, and it is kept well maintained by the citizens. It is a quiet town, the citizens moving about doing work and running errands. But once a year, human players flock to the Bergo to defend it. For on that day, a great evil attempts to destroy the town, and gain passage to the rest of the world through the Line. He goes by many the names. The Eyeless One, Him, the Silent Killer. But the people in the Bergo know him only as...

Chapter One
Our story begins at a small apartment above the general store. Jack was never extremely poor, but he wasno t exactly living the comfortable life. He barely made a living working at the Horizon mine. It was dangerous work, their was always a chance that you would mine under some gravel or fall into lava. The mobs were a problem to, but if a branch of the mine was too dangerous it was cleansed. It sounds like a complicated procedure. But it really just meant blowing it up until everything in it is dead. But hey, it payed the bills. Everyday Jack had a routine, he would wake up and eat whatever he had in his inventory at the time. Then he would take his equipment out of his chest and head to the mine. After 6 hours of working he would make his way home and fall asleep. Tomorrow he would repeat the process. On the north side of town, in a large house, a girl named Mary was just waking up. Her father made millions of gold opening mines around the Bergo and selling the ore to players. She had always lived in the lap luxury, but she was never happy. She hated always being waited on hand and foot. Never leaving her house and seeing the outside world. She longed to leave the Bergo and see the great outdoors. Her routine consisted of sleeping in and sitting home doing whatever she wanted.
Here you have it. Weo ve been introduced to our two unlikely heroes. They may seem like just another NPC to the players, but soon. A series of events will send them on an adventure that will change their lives forever.
