Standing before him was something he thought no longer existed; something that should no longer be here, someone who he thought had left forever. But no, he was there, standing by the refrigerator, calmly grabbing himself a snack of pudding and cheese. Still frozen with awe and disbelief, Steve was left speechless, unable to do anything, but kneel and stare. The unexpected visitor however, was fully capable of speech, o I hope you dono t mind,o he said, o I mean, this is your house and all, but Io m just kind of hungry so I figured I would get myself something small to eat if ito s all right with you.o Steve didno t respond. He was still in a state of denial. Even though his visitoro s words rang clear as day in his ears, he was unable to shake himself free of the awe struck chains that bound him to the floor. The visitor continued to speak, o you know, this is a very nice house you have here. It has a nice, comfortable feel inside.o

Steveo s house was a two story house made from wooden mahogany planks with a cobblestone base for support and flooring. Two wooden double doors allowed entrance through the front of the house and two sliding glass doors admitted entrance into the back patio, which consisted of a stone porch with a iron barred patio swing and a garden stretching 12 feet in length and 30 feet in width. On the bottom floor of the house was a living room that held a fireplace and two comfortable sofas covered in brown wool. To the left of the living room was the kitchen, which was fully equipped with all the essentials. In the middle was a furnace to be used for all the cooking and baking that need to be done, as well as a crafting table next to it which could be used to slice and dice and prepare food before cooking it. On the wall to the left of the crafting table and furnace was a sink and lining the tops of all the kitchen walls were wooden cabinets holding spices and other foods not meant to be refrigerated. To the right of the living room was a set of stairs that led to Steveo s bedroom, which was the only room on the second floor; since he lived alone there was no need for any other rooms to accommodate any guests that might drop by for a visit. The bedroom was large with a 6o x4o window opposite the side of the bed, giving access to a large view of the jungle floor. The walls of the bedroom were lined with shelves that held thousands of books that Steve wrote when he had time to spare. By his bedside was a small black table that held his journal, which was nearly full now. He only had about two more pages of room and then he would have to start a new one. This would be his 27th journal that he filled.

Finally taking hold of reality once more, Steve managed to mumble two words, o thank you.o

o Oh, youo re quite welcome. Do you know how long ito s been since Io ve been to this world?o the visitor asked.

o u-um, no sir I dono t know. You are the first person I have seen ever since I appeared in this jungle.o

o yes, I know. You musto ve been through a very rough life here, being all alone and all. May I ask you, do you know who I am?o

o I-I-I think I do, yes, I am quite sure I know who you are, but I dono t know if any of this is real. Is this real or am I imagining this in my death?o

The visitor laughed heartily and took a bite of his pudding and cheese combo. He strolled over to the sofa closest to them, turned it towards Steve so that they could still meet eye to eye and sat down. o My friend, my creation, my son. This is most definitely real. You still live in reality. You have not died yet. Oh, dono t get me wrong you almost died in that cave there, but no, I would not allow it. I simply couldno t allow it. Your destiny is too great for you to die in some hole out in the middle of nowhere inside a vast jungle such as this. No my child, you are not dead yet.o

o So then it is trueo ¦ you are truly Notch. Creator of our world. The one who brought life and fertility to a world that use to be nothing but a barren wasteland.o

o Yes. That is correct. I am Notch. And I apologies for the lonely life you have lived, but know that there is a reason for everything I do. There is a reason why I placed you here, in this jungle, alone, and empty-handed. I needed you to grow. I needed you to develop the strength that only someone who lived a life of isolation and hardship could obtain.o Notch leaned back in the sofa, allowing the words he just said to fully soak into Steveo s mind. And they soaked, and soaked, and soaked. The reaction that Steve gave however, was the exactly what Notch was expecting.

o But why!? Why would you send me to such a lonely place? Never allowing me to see anyone else! What strength is better than the love that a father and mother can provide you with? WHAT STRENGTH!?o

Notch sat in the sofa, allowing Steve to vent all the trials and tribulations he had to go through just to survive this heartless jungle. Allowed him to vent about all the pain and loneliness he felt while continuing to live on in hopes that someone would someday find him and bring him to civilization. But no one ever came. As Steve finished ranting, Notch finished his pudding and then his cheese. After about half an hour, Steve was done. Notch didno t reply however, instead, he let Steve have a moment to calm down. And then he talked,

o Steve, I understand your feelings towards me at this moment, and I can assure you, that things will eventually get better. But before anything improves, you will first have to be able to leave this jungle, but even then things will not get better right away. There are many things I need you to do, and only you can do them for me. I may have helped you survive the cave-in, but I will not help you find your way out the jungle. This is yet again, something you will have to do alone.o

o But have I not already endured enough by myself!? Why must you put me through more of this pain when Io ve already been through this loneliness my entire life?o

o Because, if I were to continue to help you, then all the strength you gained from living alone would be lost, you would grow to depend on my help. And that is definitely what I dono t want to happen.o

o You still have not told what the strength is that I gained from surviving alone here. You still haveno t answered my question.o

Notch hesitated for a moment, not sure how he could phrase his answer to Steve. o The strength you gained from this lonely life is very common among people, yet uncommon at the same time. Only a select few individuals have ever had a will power as great as yours, a determination to live on that helped them overcome any obstacle. Everyone has will, but only a few have a strong will to do the right thing and to make the right decisions. All the people that have had a will as strong as yours is now, have all lived their life in solitude, ever since birth. They appeared alone, in places like this jungle, with on one to help them. They had to learn to survive on their own, grow strong on their own. They had to throw away their fears in order to survive the demons of the night. These are all things that you too have done Steve. The journey you will soon embark on, is far greater than you may think. You will come across many obstacles that will try to throw you of course, but you mustno t stray from your destiny. This journey will test everything that makes you who you are, and will threaten to turn you into someone you areno t. Stay true to your heart Steve, only that, will get through this to the end. No one can help you but yourself. I must go now. I advise you to get ready and leave as soon as possible. Once you are ready, leave this place immediately and stay of the ground. Move through the trees, even during the day. Only come to the ground if you absolutely have to. This is all I can tell you for now. Hurry. You dono t have much time. I will be watching over you, in hopes that you shall see this to the end.
o See what to the end?o but he was gone. Notch had departed, well, at least for now he did. Steve was confused. He had just seen the creator of this very world, told he was given a lonely life so he could develop a strong will, told that Notch saved him from the falling tunnel because his destiny was far too great for him to die now, and then was given an ominous warning to stay off the ground, even during the day. But that part was the strangest. Why should he be staying of the ground during the day when the monsters only come out at night? What fearless phantom of the nether would stroll around in broad daylight, as if it were night? These questions and more, threatened to cloud Steveo s thoughts, but he could not let that happen. He had to leave. Why, he did not know, but he knew he had to. Notch said so himself. Staring out the window, Steve saw the jungle. This was not a place of security. This house he created here was nothing but a lie. A false sense of security in which he used to block out the reality of the jungle surrounding him. The jungle was a nightmare, a vicious beast whose malice stretched to infinity. Steve knew this. And he knew he had to leave. Staying here any longer would only result in his death. Breaking his stare from the window, Steve shook himself of his thoughts, and began preparing for the journey ahead.

Yes, you are a good writer. But as an idea, I know this is about minecraft, and that is understandable, but maybe think up stories out of the blue, no other creations involved. Other than that, nice work!

Ok, I understand that, but really the story is pretty good. I like the idea of releasing the story in parts, it lets people understand it more, great work.
