Running. Alarms blaring. Grunts behind them in hot pursuit. The only thing Raiku could hear was his heartbeat.

20 yards in front of them, stolen weapons in hand, The Wardens office. "Get them!" yelled grunts, "Attack!" screamed others. As Raiku and his gang neared the room were they might find their freedom, Tilo heard a faint beeping sound. Grenades! "Turn ba-" she started to scream . A flash of blinding light, and they were out cold being drug to the drop chamber to meet their final moments. They awoke in a cage high above the ground, as the grunts tied them down with the group in full revolt; A bone chilling laugh silenced the room. The Warden was here, The Holy Piercer still at his waist. "Welcome to your doom." The Warden said, smiling. It will not hurt a bit." he said pulling the lever that accessed the seemingly endless pit below them.. Raiku tried to see the bottom, but all he could see was a blazing abyss of iridescent orange. "I'm sure Master will love how you taste!" The Warden yelled, mockingly. A horrific mix of a deafening growl and a deathly scream filled the chamber. As the Warden lowered them into the pit where the demon of a creature was, an explosion shook the room. Than silence. Laser-fire disentegrated the door, and a platoon of Patadecians charged into the room guns firing and blades swinging, chopping down any resistance. As the leader of the group removed the cage from above the pit, they surrounded the Warden, but he drew The Piercer. He was as good a swordsman as Raiku, maybe better. Deflecting every laser shot his way, and blocking every blade swung near him. Suddenly, a huge glob of burning orange magma burst out of the pit and made the previous noise, ten-fold. It swallowed up the Warden as he made his last attempts to survive. Drops of its essence burning men and grunts alike to a smoldering mess. As the demonic glob neared the remaining soldiers, An explosion of chill and shattering filled the battlegrounds. An ice grenade! The group began the assault again swiping aside any grunts in their way. The orange glow began again, it was melting through! "Those grenades wol'nt last long!" yelled Tilo. "We must escape before it snaps out of it!." Raiku said. They escaped. Rescued by the greatest platoon of Patadecians in history. And began their journey to release the world of it's bonds held by The Brimstone.
