Cordal did the same

They lunged at each other, but at the last second Colak sidestepped, and smacked his fathers back to knock him over. But instead, Cordal front flipped, spinning 180 to face Colak.

Cordal ran at Colak, but colack brought his sowrd to bear, blocked, countered, missed, spun 360 and slashed again, his sword clanging into his fathers armour. Before Cordal could do anything, Colak put his left hand, the empty one, on the ground and brought his arm up around his back. He was now spinning on one had, using his three other limbs as weapons. Cordal could not find an opening. After a moment Colak sprung into the air and landed right side up.

Colak ran forward, his arm raising for a downward slash. At the last moment Cordal sidestepped, hoping Colak would run into the marble pillar he had backed into. Instead, Colak ran up the pillar and jumped off a 15 feet, spinning around to face his father. Colak landed on Cordal feet first, knocking him over. HE then put his sword at his fathero s throat.

"No that would be copying your error. Io ll just kill you, and put mother and your son outside the castle. They will get generous monthly payments. Guards!o Two of Colako s rebels arrived. o Put him in the dungeon. Weo ll have a public execution in one week.o

And so Cordal lived his last week of life in jail. Everything Colak said to his father, he did. The rest of his family were given a large store with living quarters above. He installed Forl as his chief advisor, but left the army the way it was. Everyone who had been with him in the mines he gave citizenship. Then the time came for the execution.

Colak walked up to the guillotine. Withough speaking, he chipped the diamond from his fathero s crown and placed it on his with a resounding click. Then he nodded to the executioner. The blade fell, and Cordalo s life was ended.
