Now a days, you can come up with a completely original idea, like on this website, and a few people like it. But then you follow the trend and copy say, a slenderman? BOOM! Diamonds, likes, money. Same with social status. Post something on facebook, for example. No one likes it even though it's intelligent. Then a popular kid post YOLO and EVERYONE likes it.
