The Floating islands
CHAPTER 1
It was the year 2012. Science has gotten advance as well as energy. You see, our inventions are
more powerful which means we need more energy. Heheh, we found some. Somewhere in the Atlantic
Ocean, there lied an island. It was there for quiet a long time. It sent off huge beams of power in to the
heavens. When we tried to harvest it's core, lets just say, it went up. Literally. The island levitated into the
sky. Most of the people who tried to harvest the core died, while the rest of us lived (with permanent injuries).
These weird bird creatures emerged from the caverns, they seemed helpless. Probably because we tried
to take their only source of energy. Guess what? We're gonna do it, AGAIN. Because of the military's
ignorance, I quit. But they still did it anyways. When they harvested the core, they DIED. Not because of
the core, but because of the island splitting up into 4s. The only thing keeping the island together was
that core. Everyone on that island might die because they can't get certain foods or supplies to survive.
I wish the military would just give the control back to the government.
