Chapter I
Kanden was sitting on his bed playing a game on his gameboy, he was a nice kid but sometimes people find him kinda pushy. It was a nice fall day on the planet Avelite, a world of magico ¦o ¦o ¦..and blocks
Kanden was just walking outside his house in the morning when his friend felix came running down the road screaming o HEYYYYY!!!o Felix was running toward kanden, but then he tripped on a rock.. o you can be a dope sometimeso kanden told him o well thankso felix replied.
Then suddenly there friends annie and strife started to approach them o hey kanden, hows it goingo strife said. Strife was really tough he was only 18 and was a part-time soldier for the vale army o not too bad, but could be better, well anyways why are you here.o he replied o we need some help with some researcho annie said
o wow,the great annie vallen actually needs helpo felix mumbled
o what was that punk!o annie shouted. o n,nothing. Nothing at all.o felix said scared. o well, anyways what we need help with is research on magic, we want to go up mount valeo said strife. o we can help with thato kanden said.
o thato s great, see you at the base of the mountain at 4:20 ok?o strife said. Then they all walked away to get there stuff.
Chapter II
At kandens house, kanden is digging through boxes looking for something to use as a weapon because there will be many monsters,or just bats.
Then he found it,a sword, a rusty Stone sword, actually a very rusty sword. He got up and ran to the meeting spot. o hey guys sorry im lateo he said as he stopped. Strife had equipped himself with a huge gold sword, annie with a staff,and felix with a lance. o nice lance,felixo kanden said.
o anyways can we hurry up and go now im getting impatiento said annie.

Chapter III
They were only about a kilometer when they started being attacked by goblins,walking corpses,o ¦.and bats, so many bats.they were attacked 6 times by the time they were at the top of the mountain, o glad thato s overo strife said. o what its not over we still need to go through the temple, you know the thing we came here for.o Said annie. felix fainted.
They began going through the temple, it had even more monsters than before. As they walked through the hall they noticed paintings of strange things on the walls, like one showed a dude holding a fire ball while people where bowing around him, another showed someone crying lightning. Then kanden and annie heard something o adeptso ¦..o it said. o What the heck was that!o said annie. Felix and strife looked at her funny o ummm, what noiseo strife said. o I heard it!o kanden said. Then one of the paintings glowed, it showed 8 people fighting and a man with a mask holding a swirly ball. Then a sudden flash happened and kanden glowed blue, then he shot out a fire ball..
Chapter IV
CRACK a giant hole opened in the side of the temple and both felix and kanden got blown out of the wall, getting separated from strife and annie
o AHHHHH IM GONNA DIE!!!!o felix yelled as he fell off the mountain. Suddenly kanden noticed something hey im not supposed to shoot fireballs! He thought. Then they hit the groundo ¦.

Heellloooo?o said a girl voice. o uhhhhh, no, no, no NOOOOO!o kanden yelled in his half conciseness. then suddenly his eyes flung open,he jumped to the ground and yelled: o FELIX!!!!!o . Felix was against a rock with a bandage across his forehead, kanden didno t even realize the girl that had saved him standing right behind him o oh, sorry I didno t see you there, im kanden, ummm where you the one that saved me?o kanden said ,o umm yes im jennao said the girl. o umm well thanks for saving me, where am I?o kanden said. o Kalm town,o she told him.

As they walked into town, they noticed nobody was outside, the sky was dark even though it was only 2:34. o uh, this is a town?o felix said. o umm, yeah, usually.o Then suddenly the mayor burst out the door screaming: o help,help oh thank the gods! Jenna your back phew, it terrible, a wizard is burning the monument to arkantos!o o what, kanden we have to help everyone!o said jenna o what, no way you can help yourself!o kanden replied. o Hey! So they went into the castle where the monument was located, at even the first floor they already started seeing monsters everywhere, and had to fight them all, o you ok, kandeno felix said as he slashed a blob apart with his lance. o yes, but my hand is tingly and I feel something screaming inside me telling me to do something, and my mind is flashing to the paintings in the temple,o he replied. Then felix snapped o a fireball! like at the temple,do that umm thing.o o how!?o he screamed. o why dono t you ju-o a door flew open. And a tall,tall ummm thing out of the door and swung a sword at kanden, he dodged but felix wasno t as lucky and he got hit. He went flying against the wall. Kanden went to attack but the monster zapped him with a lazer he fell but wasno t hurt. Then the monster turned to jenna and hit her. Suddenly kanden glowed blue and his eyes turned white,he started cryingo ¦.lightning.
Chapter IV
It was ripping apart,and something came out, a pink blob. Wait,no thato s not a blob! Ito s a girl. Umm or a girlo ¦thing. Well,it was a pink girl wearing a dress that was curled into a ball. There was a long silence, but then the girl got up and started walking to kanden, wait not walking Floating toward him. Kanden slowly put his hand up in the air, but he didno t want his hand to move it was like he was In autopilot or somethingo ¦.. suddenly the girl did the same and there hand touched. Then Kanden whispered something, o asha bellatorao and the girl started flashing and kanden was sent flying he hit the wall and
Snapped out of the whole autopilot thing. Then after the girl stopped flashing the pink came out of her and she turned normal.
Kanden got up and starred at the girl she looked young, really young must be 8 or 9 he thought then she said o I can help harness your powers,like the fireball or the lightning tearso ¦o o what! How do you know about that!!!o he replied, shocked. o we are both adepts, users of magic, mages you might say.o She replied. Then there was a silence.. o o ¦ok, I believe you, so we can use magic, and you can teach me?o he said. o yes, come let the training begino she said. (wow this kids 8 sheo s acting like Gandalf for corns sake) so as they walked out, felix and jenna just watched, stunned.

So kanden followed her, and she led him up a mountain. At the top he saw 2 figures just silhouettes of people, then kanden approached them. He saw who two of them whereo ¦o long time no see kanden,o she said, it was annie and strife! o see you met challis, our friend,o strife said. o heheheheo ¦.o The girl said. o ummm what is happening?o Kanden said. o idiot.o The girl said o you thought id help you, but now what awaits you,is death.o o no adepts can live,im sorry Kanden..o strife said. Then strife drew his sword from the sheath. o wait!!!!o Felix came running and jumped at annie and they started fighting. Jenna came running and started fighting the girl. The battle went on for hours when suddenly: o HIYAAAo Jenna yelled as she slashed at the girl, something flew out of the girls heart area and she fell of the cliff. o NOOOO! AMALIAo strife yelled as he jumped of after her. Now it was only annie left. o see that forest back thereo she said as she pointed to a forest off to the coast o thato s where vale is,where all of your friends and family are,and I can destroy it,right now..o she said. o Noooo!o kanden yelled, but it was too late, it explodedo ¦ o HAHAHAHA! She laughed o now that the main source of magic and the place that hold the moonstone is gone the world is at risko she yelled. Then she jumped off the cliff and the mountain cracked. And felix and kanden where separatedo ¦.
o uhhhho Kanden said as he awoke on the shore, o hey waito ¦o he said suddenly realizing something. o Felix! Jenna! Where are you!!!o he screamed. o Calm downo a deep voice said. Kanden spun around and saw a young man who was probably about 16 sitting on a rock. o hi.o He said. o ummm who are you?o Kanden said to him. o Who me? Im Petnos.o He replied in a calm but kind of laughing way. Petnos stood up, he had a very nice leather cuirass on and two knives sheathed on his thighs. o I found you unconscious on the beach 4 days ago, but my friend Lucy healed you up and your all better.o He told him. o Was there a girl with red hair and a boy with brown hair with me?o he asked nervously. o no.o he replied. o Well here leto s get you to our camp, a couple friends and I have one set up that we always stay at.o
There were a couple people at the camp, one was named Rayne, another (who appeared to be in love with Rayne) named Avery, Averyo s younger brother Avier and a girl who kept smiling at Kanden named Lucy. o So you saved me?o Kanden asked Lucy o yeah, kinda..o she was very shy and wasno t being too talkative o Lucy?o Petnos said. o uh huh?o was all she said she didno t even look up o uhg, nevermind.o Petnos left aggravated. o Lucy, can I tell you something?o Kanden asked. o sure whatevero she replied. Kanden told her the recent events of his life,the betrayal, the destruction of vale, and the separation of him and felix. o wow,thato s actually really interesting! Io ve been kinda bored but that was a great story thanks!o she said.
