This is an updated version of my color wheel, now including more blocks from 1.19 and 1.20! Its main use is to find color harmonies for a building project. There are 12 colors that I have defined, but obviously there are limitless colors. This wheel is constructed by the classical Red-Yellow-Blue color model, which may not be scientifically accurate, but yields (in my opinion) much better harmonies. The three primary colors are Red, Yellow, and Blue. The three secondary colors are Orange, Green, and Violet; and the six tertiary colors are Vermilion, Amber, Chartreuse, Teal, Indigo, and Rose.

There are six kinds of harmonies:

0. Monochromatic. Pick one color!

1. Complimentary. Two colors on opposite side of the wheel. For instance, Orange and Blue, as indicated by the solid line on the wheel, or Red and Green, which is not indicated but can be inferred.

2. Analogous. Usually three or four colors that lie next to each other on the wheel. Red, Vermilion, Orange; and Blue, Teal, Indigo, Violet; are both examples of analogous harmony.

3. Triadic. Three colors evenly spaced from one another. Indicated bu the equilateral triangle. Red, Yellow, and Blue are triadic, and so are Rose, Amber, and Teal!

4. Split Complimentary. Similar to complimentary, but instead of choosing the opposite color, you pick the two colors adjacent to the compliment. This harmony is indicated by tall, skinny, isosceles triangle.

5. Double Complimentary & Tetradic. These two harmonies are very similar, so I've decided to lump them in the same point. Basically, double complimentary is what it says on the tin. Two sets complimentary colors used together (indicated by the square in the color wheel). If the pair aren't evenly spaced from each other, that's tetradic (indicated by the rectangle).

To get the full potential out of the wheel, I recommend mainly using one color to dominate your build, and use the other colors in your scheme to flavor. Sarah Clarke on YouTube has made a fantastic video about color theory, so check it out, and I also recommend Blender Guru's video as well.

Do you have the full res on a cdn that doesn't require javascript to view like catbox? I can't figure out what scripts to allow in noscript to get the imgur to load.
