Today I am going to be showing you how to install Forge for 1.6.4+ versions of Minecraft.
*NOTE: SKIP TO STEP FIVE TO KNOW HOW TO INSTALL OPTIFINE ALONE!"
|STEP ONE|
Hm. Easy enough. Just open up your browser and click, HERE, to go to the Minecraft Forge website.
Now, scroll down until you see "All Downloads" and beneath it should be the latest version of Forge, c-
lick "installer" and download it.
|STEP TWO|
Now double click on the .jar file and click "OK"*Note: Tick off "client"*
|STEP THREE|
Congratulations, you have successfully installed Forge! WAIT! Now you must
open up Minecraft and launch the profile called "Forge" or else Forge will NOT WORK!
|STEP FOUR|
Once you've done that, go to Optifine.net
and download the latest version of Optifine and
depending on which you want, download one.
|STEP FIVE|
If you want to install Optifine alone, than just double click
the .jar file and click install and your done, but if you want it
with Forge, then keep listening. Open up your start menu and
type in "%appdata%". Now, go to ".minecraft". Open up your mods
folder and drag in the .jar file.
|STEP SIX|(FINAL STEP!)
Now, copy this code from the bottom of the page.Now open up your Minecraft launcher and click "Edit Profile". Click JVM Arguments and delete whats in there and paste in the code. Click save profile and: WELLAH! YOU'RE DONE!
