Chapter 1: Creation
Since the dawn of time, there has existed a nothingness. From this Void came the emergence of two gods. Their names are the god Poly and the goddess Ester. As the birth of these two deities came into being, so came forth this universe. The god Poly and the goddess Ester lived within this realm for thousands of years, always thinking and always expanding their influence towards this new creation. They were lovers, in a way, showing kindness towards their ever expanding logic towards all that they have seen and heard. It was this kindness that gave birth to life.

The god Poly foresaw a birth of a great new world, and all of the creativity that would spawn forth from it. He saw all of what would come from the creativity, and weeped at all of the hardships. After communicating this with Ester, it was agreed upon that they would oversee the birth of a new world. It would be named "The Oracle" and it would consist of several dimensions.

The world was born. From the Void, Poly created all of the rock and stone and earth from which would be the basis of all life on the planet. Ester used her divine will to create  the oceans and climate, and from this sprouted all flora and fauna that would exist in the world. With their creation now seeing fruition, Poly and Ester combined their power to create the divine law and order that all life on the planet must adhere to.

The world was now in existence. And as Poly and Ester watched their creation constantly give life to itself over and over, a peculiar thing happened. Life was evolving. Indeed, now instead of the mere silverfish found underground, there were creatures that now thrived in this new paradise. There were cows, sheep, chickens, wolves, pigs, rabbits, and horses. These creatures were commonly found dwelling upon the green pastures and within the deciduous forests that dotted the landscape. In the shadow, bats could commonly be seen making their homes within the dark labyrinth of cave systems and communicating with others of their species. Evolution had also spawned the strange subspecies of cows. Mooshrooms would commonly be seen in mysterious islands of purple grass and giant mushrooms.

From evolution had also spawned in terrifying nightmares. Where bats now reside, also spawned forth hellish demons. Zombies, skeletons, mutated giant spiders, bunnies that have succombed to evil, and strange, green armless creatures they would call creepers, all had now made their homes within the dark. Poly would weep for those that these strange creatures would slay, and as these creatures swelled their numbers, so did his sorrow.

Evolution had spawned in a new type of creature. Avoiding the new sorrows of this creation, Poly and Ester observed the new development. It was a strange creature indeed, since this one had looked nearly identical to themselves. Poly and Ester decided to name this new creature a "human." Indeed, these human creatures would often find ways to survive, not relying on claws and fangs to eat, but using tools and various implements to gather their tools for survival. They would build homes and community huts and speak in tongues similar to the gods.

Despite all of this, these villagers had lived a simple life. They would communicate with each other, and survive well when the zombies would come, but they would not build weapons or armor. Poly observed as the zombies would slowly slaughter a village in the night until the village would be completely devoid of life. He wanted to gift his newest creatures with the tools to help defend themselves, but he did not want to give it to those that might waste it. And so he gave them the iron golem.

Stalwart and tough are the iron golems and very faithful to those they serve; these protectors are a constant vigil to defend those that they would call "friend." As Poly observed, his newest gift to humankind would effortlessly fend off wave upon wave of zombies, thus protecting the humans. The golems also showed their acts of kindness, giving out flowers or other plants that they found to their villager brethren. It made Poly and Ester happy to see the impact that their invention had made upon the world.

Yet, despite this, the villagers did not once acknowledge this gift. It was thought that somewhere, one of their blacksmiths had discovered this amazing contraption and then gave life to it. Poly and Ester observed as a few of the villagers broke apart from their beloved community and delve into the dark arts. They became witches, and did things to others most foul. Now, they were creatures of the night themselves. This would sadden Poly and Ester even further as these humans were more concerned with killing their own kind.

But despite all of the problems of the world, humanity would constantly find new ways to thrive and among all of this, came forth a new type of human. He or she would not look like any of the villagers that made their peace with the land after building their villages. These new types of wanderers had varying dreams of ambition, making homes within caves and growing crops. These humans developed weapons to fight the denizens of the night. They would discover and grow. They might build their own castles or create intricate machines. Some would build entire cities where other wanderers with different goals and ambitions could call home. Some of these strange wanderers even discovered how best to combat the denizens of the night and would seek to eradicate such threats forever.

Poly and Ester were thrilled upon watching this. Even though these new wanderers did not care about the landscape, they would build devices to keep the night creatures from slaughtering any more of the creatures of the earth. Some would slay a cow or a pig here or there, but the wanderers always did their best to keep the animal populations thriving through various breeding methods.

The world was alive. With the addition of the wanderers came a world that was constantly growing, whether through new towns being built, or new fortresses coming alive. The native villagers were being shepherded into newer and more grand cities, or possibly they were being hired as servants or shop owners. The world was no longer stagnant. This was the birth of a new age.

As these wanderers moved towards imperialism, so did they move towards despair. Through mystical means unknown to this plane of existence came forth portals across the land. They lead into a dimension that neither Poly nor Ester had created. It was a land filled with lakes of fire, and the very ground itself could be set ablaze. There existed strange mutated undead pigs that walked upright, but were only hostile when the wanderers would attack them. The demons of this plane were ravenous and instilled fear in the wanderers at first. They were tough to kill, and the skeletons of this plane had bones blacker than the night. Their blades were coated with a poison most foul and their partners were strange, orange metallic beings that spouted fire from their bodies. It was a horrible place. The land itself was permanently scarred by its fierce climate.

Yet still, the wanderers found a reason to return to this dimension over and over.

Poly and Ester decided then that a new dimension needed to be formed. Their power was, by this point, beyond measure. They needed a realm to house this power. And so they invented a realm they simply called The End. It was an alien-like place, with spires made from obsidian protruding from the strange terrain. On top of these spires existed the magical artifacts of divine will. These artifacts were fragments of Poly and Ester. But they did not stop there. From extreme divine power, they spawned forth a mighty dragon to guard their most precious object. As powerful as it was fearsome, this dragon would guard the magical token that was the divine artifact brought into the mortal plane. It was the most powerful artifact ever to have touched the mortal plane of existence. To mortals, it was called a "dragon egg," but the real name was kept a secret by Poly  and Ester. So this egg had remained guarded by the dragon, until one fateful event took place.

His name was Josh. He was a scholar and a knight. His deeds across the land had given him a position of power amongst his peers. The kingdom was ruled well under his control. Josh had heard tales of the rumors of divine power in the End, but during his early life, he had discredited the rumors. As his knowledge about this world and the next had grown, now he had found living proof of the End through discovery of the "eye of ender," and it was now his goal to take an adventure into this strange new dimension.

Armed with his trusty sword made out of diamonds and his suit of fine iron armor, he made the pilgrimage to ancient constructs of darkness. Using the eye of ender as a makeshift compass, he found the stronghold and dug his way to its unknown depths. Braving fierce monsters and strange tall black creatures called "endermen," he found the portal, and upon its activation, he found himself in the End dimension.

The battle was fierce. Josh nearly lost his footing a few times, almost plunging to his death into the Void, but he was victorious! The dragon lay dead, and all of the magical artifacts on top of the obsidian spires were destroyed. Now the portal back to the real world was within sight. Josh reached forth to climb into the portal when the unexpected happened.

Josh made contact with the dragon egg of the divines and absorbed its power. As he felt himself becoming immersed in its supreme celestial magic, so too did he take up an entirely new role. He was no longer a human. Josh had become a man-god, now the artifact of divinity created by Poly and Ester. Josh returned to the overworld, and through divine miracles and powerful magic, he had set himself up as the god of the overworld. Through this chain of events, he established a reign of peace.

Poly and Ester looked down upon this resolution with grim satisfaction. Josh Ester would now serve as a fine man-god until the end of time, or until Poly and Ester decided to release Josh from his duty and recover their divine artifact. Now that Poly and Ester felt their roles were now expended, they would sleep in the Void until that day would come.

Chapter 2: Man-God
At the dawn of the new age of civilization, kingdoms would flourish. Amongst these, existed a very powerful empire. It was known merely as New TheOracle, and its military might was heralded forward by a king who would deploy cruel tactics and overwhelming force to achieve his goals. This king's name was Harold, and he was the first, and last, of his dynasty.

As mighty as this king had believed himself to be, there was about to be a series of events that nobody could control.

His name was Josh Ester. Josh was a noble young soldier, constantly driving himself forward by noble ambitions and achievements. From the young age of sixteen, he had been a sergeant of a small regiment of infantry, always impressing his commanders and his king with his expert skill with a blade and resourcefulness to survive. Nothing could challenge him through swordplay. As he reached his early twenties, he delved into the vast world of philosophy. It was his belief that he could change the world by being kind-hearted and always striving to be the best.

As a scholar and a soldier, Josh would constantly debate with his peers. He would talk in such a way that others would always hear his wisdom and grow wiser from listening to him. His knowledge would grow throughout the years. In his mid-twenties, he was now serving as a general of the king's vast army. His charge was in defending the kingdom's borders and clearing away any immediate threats in the area.

Josh's tactics did not serve the king's interests. King Harold would often accuse Josh of undermining his authority, by showing mercy to the enemy instead of employing the king’s tactics. But Josh would constantly argue with the king that their enemies could respond better to non-violence instead of wasting resources on warfare. Josh would constantly point out that war was a very costly way to get what the king wanted. The king would never listen to this, but the king would never raise a finger to stop to whatever Josh would do. However, one fateful assignment would change the world forever.

King Harold had learned of the existence of a divine realm known as The End. It was believed that the entrance to this dimension existed in this world, and that access to the place would be the foundation for King Harold to become famous forever in history. And so, he informed Josh of this place, and charged Josh with figuring out the way into The End and delivering whatever he would find there.

It took several months for Josh to research this topic. It was a strange task, but Josh was powerless to refuse the king's orders. Josh believed that if such a divine dimension had existed, that it should not be accessed by a mortal man. Josh also had believed that King Harold was foolish and should not be the man to rule the kingdom. Josh wanted to see a new king crowned; one that was kind and compassionate and did not waste time on foolish wars.

It was the drive to finally see King Harold dethroned that was driving Josh forward in his research. He had already made an expedition into the Nether. His experience there was an easy enough task, thanks to his special potion that made him immune to fire. He had fought off the orange, metallic beings and was able to obtain their body parts. His knowledge of alchemy helped him to discover the properties of these alchemy ingredients. Through the use of a mortar and pestle, he ground it up into a fine powder. This powder was then mixed with a magical item called an "ender pearl," which Josh believed was linked to The End. Josh was amazed upon discovering this new item, which looked exactly like an eye. This "eye of ender" could be thrown, and Josh knew that it would always fly towards its place of origin. All Josh had to do was follow it.

After packing up with plenty of supplies and his trusty diamond sword and iron armor, he set off in the direction of the eye of ender. He had made several the night before. His research had told him that the eyes of ender were unstable and would dissolve back to their place of origin randomly. Josh knew that this was a defensive measure by the gods to protect their divine dimension.

Josh found the ender dimension portal. It was a strange artifact, and Josh wanted to take a sample back to the castle with him, but the frame would not break through any means that he had possessed. Indeed, explosions seemed to have no effect whatsoever. Disgusted, Josh inserted the eyes of ender into their respective slots.

With the last one now placed, he backed off slightly as he peered into the strange blackness of it. Josh was mystified at this phenomenon. It was like looking into the very soul of creation itself. Josh jumped through the portal and was transported into The End dimension.

Immediately upon entry, Josh heard the howl of the mighty dragon that guarded the area. What it was guarding, Josh could not fathom. He set to work reaching the main area and knocking down all of the strange crystals he saw on the large obsidian spires. These were strange artifacts by themselves, but Josh had set himself towards destroying them as they would regenerate the dragon he was trying to kill.

After the strange crystals were no more, Josh started his arrow barrage, switching to melee only when it was necessary. A dozen times and a dozen times more, Josh was buffetted from his position he had set up, sending him flying. Despite things looking grim, he managed to deliver the final blow to the mighty beast.

As the great dragon dissolved in a spectacle, it materialized a strange artifact. Josh set aside his sword and bow and walked towards the portal. Climbing on the frame, he reached out to this egg-like item that pulsed with a great energy. A rush of bright light engulfed Josh, surrounding him with an aura, before dissolving into him completely. The dragon egg stopped pulsing. Breaking free from the trance, Josh took this artifact with him as he jumped through the exit portal.

Josh arrived at the last place he slept. Using his new divine power, he teleported the dragon egg away to an unknown location, the location of which is still unknown to this very day. Some say that it split in the teleport magic to be cared for amongst those he trusted. Some say Josh actually destroyed the egg to prevent its power from being in the wrong hands. None of these theories are actually proven. One thing is known: the true location of the true dragon egg of the divines is lost forever.

King Harold rushed into Josh's room. Josh now had a look of divinity about him, and with one slice of his hand, Josh murdered King Harold. Josh then established himself as Josh Ester, master of New TheOracle. His reign was an era of peace. The problems of the land were solved through miracles that Josh would create.

When the peasants of the outer areas of the kingdom were starved for food, Josh would synthesize enough food for the peasants to last a month. When the barbarians of the wastelands decided to march in full force upon the kingdom, Josh met them alone, and with a single sweep of his arm, they all fell dead. When the zombie hordes of the night would seize control of village after village and terrorize its inhabitants, Josh would command the climate itself to turn into day , vanquishing all of the creatures of the night. Josh would sprout walls from the ground and spawn in houses and infrastructure from nothing. Even the denizens of the Nether would see no mercy. Josh would slaughter any of the hellish creatures and make the Nether liveable again, and the citizens found tremendous wealth by settling there.

The kingdom prospered. The entire world prospered. This was the era of Josh Ester.

Within the Void, Poly and Ester slumbered, knowing that their world was finally at peace.
