Hello readers of my stories. Today's story is going to be a bit more special than the rest. Instead of sharing a story I came up with in my mind. I am going to tell you a tale, of something that has happened to me and my family last summer. So sit back, relax, grab a drink and a snack. As I tell you. About the mysterious dead body, of a deer.
. . .
On one summer's day. Me and my family were out riding around in the woods near our house. But on this trip, my dad notices something on a rocky hillside. He goes to check on it and I followed shortly afterwards. Once I got to where my father went to. He was standing right next to the corpse of a deer.
It was a fawn from the looks of it ( Aka a baby deer )
All of it's legs were broken
And it's head was chopped cleanly in half, with the brain cavity completed hollowed out, and the other half missing from the rest of the head
And the rest of the body was intact
My father moved the deer's body to a spot where scavenger animals could easily have access to it, and we drove back home.
We spent the rest of the day theorizing what happened to it and what killed it.
"Was it a coyote?"
No. A coyote or any predator that lives here would just ignore the head completely and only eat from the body
" Was it a hunter? "
No. There were no bullet or arrow wounds in the deer. Deer season was months ago during this time. And even then, no sane person would hunt a Baby deer.
"Was it a human in general? "
Possibly. The head was cleanly cut like if it was chopped in half with an axe or sharp object. So some psychotic person could have found a fawn separated from it's family, broke its legs, chopped its head in half, and cleaned out its brain cavity.
The scariest part about this story is that we found the body fairly close to our house. Right near the fence surrounding our property. So there is a chance that whatever did kill that deer. Is still out there and is very close to where we live.
But we have yet to see anything like that ever again.
To this day, we are still confused as to what killed that deer. . .
THE END
