Hey guys, im going to be doing a bunch of blogs all about my minecraft/Mc related happenings etc. If your not interested in this sort of stuff, then.. well, thats up to you to guess. :)
Okay, well anyway, heres the scene, I've had minecraft for a long time, yet never had a server, but yet its something i've wanted to do for a long time. I would of allready done it if had a bank account, but I cant due too loss of my legal documents etc. so Im looking on stuff through the internet, looking for server creators. Now I got this idea from being round my friends house and seeing it on the mod section. Anyway back to it, as my internet is slow, I found it incredibly annoying trying to download something that took me half an hour to download, then when I tried to open it, does it work? no no no, of course not im not loved that much gawd. as that was the only one I could be bothered to do, I looked through the comments section in search of a gleam of light, sure enough some guy said "This is way better then 'blah blah blah' thanks" So I googled it, found it and took me a while to find the download button -.- Anyways, when I did I clicked it, an hour download time? I mean WTF to my internet, how much more annoying could this get, so I got on the old Ps3 and beared it out, finally when it downloaded I clicked it, and to my suprise, it worked?!?! I was like :O. Anywho, I opened it tryed setting things up, took me an hour filling in all the boxes, now when I did, I then was quite happy with myself, untill I realised I dont know the ip, it didnt say it. I went through the download about 10,20 times? Fml, then I googled about my ip, started a new server, filled in all the boxes, all that crud. I then finally got it working, got the ip, told my friend to test the server when I was on it, it didnt work. FMLLLL. I had to portforward which I did not get after some admin on a server tried talking me though it. So, I do what any male does in this situation. Thats right, I gave up after one try? im bloody useless.
Guess i'll just rent a server. ^.^
