Update

some servers are running on 1.2.4 with plugins (i think its bukkit). Why can't i update my server to 1.2.4?
Do they have hacks or somthing? I just want to make my server 1.2.4! and i need some1 who doesnt own a server to be the co-owner on my (currently private) server. i will tell u the ip soon but i first need help with update! If some1 knows how to have 1.2.4 mc with plugins pls tell me thank u
