Introduction

All the time teachers are wondering what they can do to make learning easier. I always have opinions, but no one listens to me so I'm hoping you guys will read what I have to say about school curriculum and what they can do to help us learn.

Ways to Teach

Many teachers have different ways to teach. Some like to use verbal, some use physical, and some even let their students watch videos about it. My favourite way is physical. I like to do something in order to learn.

In the Comments: Tell me what your favourite way of learning is.

How Can Minecraft Help?

If you have ever seen MinecraftTeachr you will know how this can help. I find this helps more with younger kids. They learn how to use their hands. They learn how to do these things:

  • Hand-eye-coordination: They learn to hand-eye-coordination by using the mouse and keyboard as well as looking at the screen.
  • Problem Solving: They have to figure out what to do in different situations.
  • Reaction Time: When you see a zombie what do you do? You immediately start attacking it.
  • Planning Ahead: What's your ultimate goal? To fight the Enderdragon. You have to first make a plan in order to get to the Enderdragon.
  • Social Skills: If you are playing on a server you learn how to work with people and if there is problems you also learn how to solve it together.
  • Sharing: Often someone will need an item. With Minecraft you learn to share what you have with other people.
  • Upgrading/Life Skills: You start out with nothing. Then you get wood, cobblestone, iron, maybe gold, and ultimately Diamond.
  • and much more...

You see what I mean? There are so many things Minecraft can teach you.

How will Teachers Use This in Everyday Life?

Okay maybe teaching was a bad word for it. I honestly think that parents and even Preschool teachers could use this. They are teaching their kids to be more dependent on technology, yes, but what's that compared to all those life skills you can learn.
Thank you for reading this blog. Please don't forget to diamond, favourite, and subscribe.

Before you go grammar natzi on me I am going to say that someone pointed out the word MinecraftTeachr. That's someone's name...not a typo.

One of my teachers had a project where you could either right a poem or build a house in Minecraft. I built the house :)

I believe this would be a great teaching tool, but what do teenagers know? Lol jk, I know tons. I like physical teaching because it allows me to develop a understanding for the certain subject.
