Bjorin decided to go to the guards and face the penalty for the assassino s murder. After walking a couple of miles with the guards to the courtyard. He noticed some bushes were moving to an eerie manner. He guessed it was just some nocturnal animal. They finally made it to the courtyard. The courtyard was broken and plants grew all over it. There was a tree that stands on its roots like legs. In it was an elder. When Bjorin saw that elder something felt like he knew him before. The elder spoke and said o Bjorin of the Avalar clan. You have murdered your father. Do you have anything to say in defense?o Bjorin thought that the elder wouldno t believe him if he said an assassin did it. Even if the arrow was still there in the target. Bjorin said o No, sir I have nothing to say in my defense.o Then the elder shook his head sadly and spoke to Bjorin o Your beheading will be on tomorrow morning. You will stay in the dungeon for the night.o Then the guards escorted Bjorin to the dungeon.


The dungeon was far worse looking than the courtyard. It was broken leaky and overgrown with vines and roots. As Bjorin fell asleep he had a dream. In his dream there was a place fiery and full of tortured souls. In the middle of it all there was a pool of lava. Ascending from the lava was a demon. A giant demon. His horns were made of obsidian. His skin looks like red rocks. And one eye was covered with an eye patch which looks like it was made of a black metal. When he arose all the tortured souls bent down and said loudly. o Hail Mephistopheles. Hail Mephistopheles. Hail Mephistopheles.o And they kept saying that on and on. Until Mephistopheles glared at Bjorin. He chuckled softly and spoke o Bow down to me.o But Bjorin couldno t move. He was frozen in place by some force. Mephistopheles shouted at Bjorin o WONo T BOW DOWN TO ME WILL YOU!? THEN YOU WILL PAY!o He lifted his giant obsidian claw and it landed straight on Bjorin. Crushing him. Bjorin woke up sweaty and cold. It was morning and the time for his beheading. The guard unlocked the cell door and escorted him to the courtyard.


The courtyard looked beautiful in the morning even though it still looked the same as last night. In the middle was the elder and an executioner wearing a black mask and carrying a halberd. There was a wooden chopping block. At the end of the block was a basket where his head is to fall when chopped off. He knelt down. Right before the halberd cam down upon his neck an arrow struck the eye of the executioner. Then a volley of arrows hit the guards. But the elder made a powerful blue force field. As the assassins came down to the courtyard Bjorin wanted to get the executionero s halberd but his hands were tied behind his back. All the assassins were after Bjorin. They looked similar to the one he killed in the woods. They probably were there to avenge his death. The elder had blue sparks on both of his hands. After that all Bjorin saw was blue. After regaining his sight in a few seconds he noticed the spell disintegrated the assassins into a blue glowing smoky pile of ashes. But there was one assassin hiding behind the tree the whole time. The spell seemed to not hit him. He was now behind the elder. Bjorin shouted to the elder o BEHIND YOU!o But it was too late the elder was stabbed behind the back. Bjorin got the halberd and cut the rope that was tied behind his arms. He ran to the assassin and in one quick swing the assassino s head rolled to the floor. The old man whispered o Bjorin.o Bjorin came closer and replied o Yes?o


The elder spoke once more o I want you to have this.o He pulled out a wooden sword with a strange shining purple glow under his robe.


Bjorin replied o Ito s my sword.o


o Yes, I am aware of that. Now bring it to Arnbjorn Greyfaulk. He is in the town library. He was also close friend of your father. These group of assassins are called the Black Alliance. Grandson.o


Bjorin watched as his grandfathero s eyes slowly closed. Now another one of his family members are dead. But he then thought why did his father not saying anything about his grandfather and Arnbjorn. Who is Mephistopheles. And why are all these Black Alliance assassins after me. So while thinking about those events he headed to the library. So he can meet his fathero s close friend. Arnbjorn.
