Welcome Ladies and Gentleblocks to a short tutorial that I made on transmitting your redstone signal vertically with the use of top-side halfslabs and glowstone.

Using this method, you can transport your redstone current in a 2x1 area rendering it a very compact and efficient way of making it go up.

Your downwards is wrong too. You don't need a 2x2 you can do 2x1.

I will teach you.

This is an essential thing to redstoning, and I'm glad to see a popular PMCer make it just a littler more well known. Personally I use this everyday :)

Thats a very good point. The extra repeater to extend the signal may add another block of width sadly but thats a sacrifice I'm willing to make! Thanks :)
